I'm sorry to disagree again, however 'mm games' is a false narrative. The mm's are purely responding to supply and demand. They have taken stock onto their books and are marking the price down accordingly.

I'm all for positivity, however I partially disagree on the current stock churn. The seller is having to take things slowly and wait for high volume days in order to sell into the market. If there was an orderly transfer of funds from one II or UHNW to another then the house broker could facilitate that transaction relatively easily. As it is, we have a seller having to wait for matching daily buy volume which in micro caps is only generated by news flow. On the positive side, counting back on the selling volumes, my guess is that the remaining overhang is in the 5-10m range. Hopefully that can clear quite quickly from here.

Today we have the big delayed prints from the 16th and 17th June, which capped the price. Plenty of shuffling about still going on. It'll be great when this pesky seller is done.

Agreed, given Colin's age and the lack of corporate structure, you'd think he'd like to wrap up deals on some of his projects/companies, and monetise his investments in the not too distant future. The latent value in GLR's Zambian projects which look close to commercial viability will hopefully provide us with a decent ROI in the near term.

Yep, had it not been for the seller dumping into the volume, yesterday would have been a 30% up day imo. Liquidity spikes followed by very low daily volume being part of the micro cap scene. Frustrating nonetheless.

There's a couple of delayed trades printed after the bell, totalling 4.25m which look like they could belong to the seller. If it is who I think it is then they must be getting to the bottom of the barrel.

Today's RNS does seem like a game changer for GLR. Just that the market doesn't see it that way as yet.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a rather large delayed sell print popping up after the close, or in the next few days, depending on its size, given the buy volume not moving the mm's at the moment. Singers have been alone on the offer since 8.08am. When they move or switch to the bid, it might be a sign that we're clear of the overhang and the price is free to move.

That's because there is a seller feeding the market. Otherwise the stock price would be tighter.

I also bought 1m this morning, and I can assure you that not all the chunky trades are buys. The price does not move intraday from 17.5% up to 2.86% up because of buying. At the time it was clear on L2 which market makers took the stock.

Great RNS this morning. Shame there is still a persistent seller unloading into the volume. Once the overhang has cleared hopefully we'll see the rise that today's announcement deserves.

Berenberg still alone this morning in doing a hatchet job on the offer on behalf of their seller. Two pence below the other mm's on the offer. Hopefully they won't be selling their entire holding.

Creates a great opportunity, if you have some dry powder, which unfortunately I don't at the moment. If other investments mature in time, I'll shuffle some funds across.

There is a simple explanation for the pullback. There's a motivated institutional seller who's feeding stock into a low volume market via Berenberg on a daily basis. Once Berenberg switches to the bid on a consistent basis, that could hopefully be a tentative sign that the overhang has dried up, and the SP can recover some lost ground. In the meantime there does appear to be a significant II overhang to clear.

The market maker Berenberg has been pushing down on the offer every day for a couple of weeks now. Even today they have pushed it down and are 2p below all the other mm's. They obviously have a line of stock to shift from a determined seller. Once they are clear, hopefully the SP will bounce.

1.39b shares in issue. So 3.8m daily volume shouldn't be that much of a big deal. However there's no denying that it did move L2 today. The only thing that always puts market makers on the back foot is volume, so I'm waiting for that to appear.

I disagree. Fourteen trades today totalling 3.84m daily volume. Not exactly a stampede into GLR (as yet). Hopefully the herd will arrive soon though.

Unusually one of the mm's retreated from the offer and onto the bid after the bell. So L2 was 3 v 1 going into tomorrow. It shouldn't take a lot of buy volume to knock the remaining mm from their current offer price, so we will hopefully get another move upwards tomorrow. Let's hope for another positive day tomorrow.
