There is a simple explanation for the pullback. There's a motivated institutional seller who's feeding stock into a low volume market via Berenberg on a daily basis. Once Berenberg switches to the bid on a consistent basis, that could hopefully be a tentative sign that the overhang has dried up, and the SP can recover some lost ground. In the meantime there does appear to be a significant II overhang to clear.

The market maker Berenberg has been pushing down on the offer every day for a couple of weeks now. Even today they have pushed it down and are 2p below all the other mm's. They obviously have a line of stock to shift from a determined seller. Once they are clear, hopefully the SP will bounce.

1.39b shares in issue. So 3.8m daily volume shouldn't be that much of a big deal. However there's no denying that it did move L2 today. The only thing that always puts market makers on the back foot is volume, so I'm waiting for that to appear.

I disagree. Fourteen trades today totalling 3.84m daily volume. Not exactly a stampede into GLR (as yet). Hopefully the herd will arrive soon though.

Unusually one of the mm's retreated from the offer and onto the bid after the bell. So L2 was 3 v 1 going into tomorrow. It shouldn't take a lot of buy volume to knock the remaining mm from their current offer price, so we will hopefully get another move upwards tomorrow. Let's hope for another positive day tomorrow.

I also bought a couple of tranches last week. The joint presentation on Molefe should show up later this month, which will hopefully put a different perspective on the value due to GLR.

I don't disagree with the sentiment re dilution, however an II buying in the open market, does not directly benefit the company. Issuing shares to the new investor means the incoming funds goes directly to the company, and will be ring fenced for the drilling and development of Molefe. It might also be that the inbound II has also been buying in the open market. Who's to know until further details are revealed. I'll be voting 'yes' to the upcoming resolution.

There's a very, very simple, two word solution to your problem. SELL UP.

Loads of news flow to come in the next month or so. I wonder if they'll provide any additional colour with confirmation of the bond settlement, or whether it'll be a straight laced bond closure announcement tomorrow?

Maybe they are waiting for the formal settlement of the $200m bond, due tomorrow, after which they'll update the website.

A whole stack of large delayed trades at or around the bid price printing this afternoon.

Those large rounded delayed trades have been printing almost every day for the last six weeks. So not unusual.

Not a hint of a reaction in terms of the potential of the Molefe drill results scheduled for release tomorrow. Given the GLR market cap compared to JLP, the Molefe assay results could have a bigger impact on GLR's mcap.

Looks like Berenberg harvested a few shares by dropping the offer this morning, however they are now back on the bid.
