I would agree with Manifesto that there is simply no way HE1 could go it alone. Besides the technical knowledge required to process helium, if this is indeed a commercial find, they'll probably have at least another 7 or 8 drills to do, plus they have their other licenses that the Tanzanian government have timestamped for activity.

A JV is the most likely scenario, and remember if HE1 are successful in Rukwa it's probable Noble would be too, so the JV partner would get economies of scale on the plant which should also benefit us.

Everything depends on the size of the find, if it's really big I'd sway towards Rukwa or even HE1 being bought out by a major.

London, very few of us (if any) on here will be geologists so yes it's complicated stuff. Through our research we just have to get what facts we can.

1 The Rukwa rift basin contains some of the oldest rocks in the world.

2. The East African Rift is the largest seismically active rift system on earth.

3. There has been volcanic activity.

4. Because of the above there is fracturing of the rock which is the catalyst for Helium.

5. We know Rukwa is a sedimentary basin which will seal the helium in and stop it escaping.

6. This is why multiple international geologists have professed that it has the primary helium reserves in the world with between 120-178 Bcf unrisked.

7. Risked potential for us is probably between 10-20 Bcf on this drill. Under I'd be disappointed, over I'd be very happy.

8. With near continuous helium from surface all the way to the basement it's a very positive sign.

9. With concentration levels probably between 7-10% it's very likely a reservoir.

10. With helium selling for approximately $500m per Bcf it will be a multi billion dollar find if all the above is correct, the equivalent of striking gold on a large scale, hence why they call helium 'white gold'.

As investors we can do no more. We have faith in the geologists and the EWT team. They are the experts.

Fort I think like you it will include Tandy, basically I think it includes anything that will use the Cascabel processing facilities and that's certainly close enough that it will. You're also right in the fact the only JV that is likely to happen is between the majors, not us. Although I've stated they are highly unlikely to proceed until all permits are received (after all why spend billions of dollars when you're not certain you can mine), the one thing I omitted was there is substantial value in shareholders with that, the price of the purchase will mean over £1 per share when it does finally happen, and I've absolutely no doubt it will happen, eventually.

Well I have to agree with both NAL and 1984, for a major to enter into a JV with SOLG as a junior partner is simply ludicrous, and I'd rather have death spiral finance than be a junior partner. Either way it's not going to happen.

There's also posts saying another $900 and the project is totally derisked. It isn't!

Listen to what Scott has continually said. He wants it totally derisked before entertaining offers and I'm sure potential buyers do also. Talk of a quick sale aren't going to happen. The major concern of any buyer (again from Scott himself) is the political situation. Do people seriously expect an offer before the elections next May? Isn't going to happen.

This project has to be fully derisked and delivered to a major as a turnkey operation, we are not going to build it. Read the RNS from July. Permits for engineering, finance and environmental are anticipated to take two years.

Live with it or move on. Nothing of major significance from work, finance or movement in the SP will happen for a long long time, unless of course Jack stumps up the $150m for the regionals development from his vast wealth...you know the funding he kept posting about that his best mate Scott assured him was coming...err last month.

London, as far as I know just Noble, (who despite just drilling shallow have already predicted $700m revenue from their initial results, not sure if that's Australian or US), and the Tanzanian Government who are drilling for oil to the North.

Wyndrum as has just been stated I would never invest what I couldn't afford to lose. You ask how I'd feel..basically unlucky, and that's because of my research.

Rukwa has the oldest rocks in the world. They are fractured due to volcanic activity and that's the catalyst for releasing helium. I also know there have been at least two Megasequence events that have released sedimentary deposits to seal the helium in. I also know that with such high concentrations, I think they've got around 7-10% that must have come from a reservoir, especially having found near continuous helium from surface all the way down to the basement.

Now whether that all amounts to a commercial find..we'll soon find out. If its not I'll just consider myself unlucky, no more no less.

To me they changed their drilling at the last moment based on the geology.

They published 4.7% concentration which they suspected was air contaminated.

They now state concentration levels are considerably higher, maybe 7-10%?

This is the Rukwa basin where every geologist that has surveyor it states there is between 120-178 billion cubic feet unrisked.

The EWT couldn't have gone any smoother to date.

I have to admit I've sold everything and gone all in. I'm not of the level of some but I think I'll either make a six figure profit or my investment days will be over.

I just can't see any reason for failure.

BUT like every investor just because I think I'm right doesn't mean I am.

MCnol it's a good thing to be nervous, it means you are taking risk seriously. However, apart from the excellent geology one thing in particular gives me great confidence, and that's the concentration levels. Every geologist that has ever mentioned helium has sounded very certain of the fact then when concentration levels are high it's a very good sign there's a reservoir there.

Anyway just hold as much as you can afford to lose.

Crusty you may well be right but I always thought the production facility study would be incorporated into the feasibly study as usually with helium finds its the offtaker that funds the plant and infrastructure in return for a percentage of revenue.

MCnol I see great results with a huge spike, slight retrace on profit taking, following by a quick submission of the Feasibility Study that has to include financial details, so i think it'll include the offtake/JV partner and details of the production plant..causing another spike.

That's if they've hit the sweet spot of course...and with near continuous helium and high concentration levels from surface to basement you'd have to say it looks very likely they have.
