The Iranians have just appointed a new head of Airports....presumably the new guy would have to approve the contract as it will start on his watch.

Cooper is so easy to farm out, all that money spent by Tullow on 3D and interpretation and then the asset handed back to ECO. They have a huge percentage to play with.

I believe Guyana and Namibia are un connected. The Namibia farm out/s will depend on what they are offered over the course of this year. Exxon, Shell, total, who are all drilling down there might fancy the efficiencies of consecutive wells, saves on mob and demob costs, also rig rates are pretty good still but are heading north again.

That discovery in the Aptian will have sharpened interest and will hopefully lead to competing offers. Time will tell

I know that Azinam are v keen to drill out their assets. Money invested and want returns.

Cooper is great, Tullow spent a lot of money there on 3D and we have all that for free now. Anyone of the majors might just decide to buy a slice and drill it as part of the upcoming campaigns.

I bought in to ECO on the prospectivity of the Namibian acreage . There have been two rounds of drilling off-shore `Namibia which have found source rock, some hydrocarbons and evidence of migration. This year will see another round of drills. Exxon, Total, Shell and others have all farmed into blocks and have worked up prospects and will drill about 3 wells this year.

Orinduik is 1800 square KM. In Namibia ECO has 22500 sq.km in just Cooper , Aaron and Guy. The CPR released in 2016 gave a P50 of 2.36 Billon BOE.

Our main partner , Azinam, (Seacrest) is v keen to drill its assets down there.

The PC/Tullow drill found evidence of migrated hydrocarbons. ECO's block is up dip from there.

The discovery off shore South Africa was in Aptian source rock, which is much of ECO's blocks off of Namibia. It is a huge find, interest is re focused on Aptian plays in the region.

We've read about plans to drill Cooper in 2020. I expect to see farm ins to Cooper and Guy this year.

None of this is priced in, a lot more to come imho

I believe their acreage in Namibia is many many multiples of this. I bought in for Namibia many years ago, hasn't worked out so far as no one has struck commercial oil. They will though, just a matter of time and all those super majors have bought in to the acreage.

There is a great stat re. the North Sea, it took 40 odd wells before they discovered oil, there has been about ten off shore Namibia.

All the Guyana related stocks are going nuts now, Ratio, Westmount, Pires etc. The world is waking up to it.

I remember Barryoe in 2012, all over the mainstream media in Ireland and UK. It was very well covered, created huge excitement, I think it will happen all over again.

Survey April/May. Approval June, rig mobilisation July, spud in August. The rig is a monster, 6th generation, v modern, built to operate all year round in the North Sea with minimal downtime, the campaign should go through straight through till early 2020.

The recent discovery in SA has re-kindled interest in the region for Aptian plays. ECO has some drill ready. Gil, in a recent VOX interview named Namibia as one of the three reasons to be invested. I get the feeling the data room is busy and we will get a farm out partner announcement in the next 6 months or so.

I had a long and pleasant chat with Andrew Mackay this morning. I can confirm that he was in charge of the well management of the Barryoe well back in 2012. He has been in the business over 40 years and was involved in the earlier wells back in the 70's. He asked me to post a synopsis of our chat to forestall any speculation as to his current involvement. He has had no contact with LOGP and has no inside knowledge whatsoever . He just thinks LOGP is cheap so he started buying in the 1s' and continued buying hence he crossed the 3% threshold and had to declare. As the first well in the up coming campaign is so close to the 2012 well he thinks the COS should be pretty good. He stressed he is not a geo physicist but an engineer.
He does not want to be bothered by private investors, he is a private man and is busy so please leave him in peace.

Personally, I take it as a positive that he has invested his cash into LOGP. He knows the asset intimately, he thinks LOGP represents good value, he has reduced the free float.
