Either, nothing is going to happen for years and they want to raise money to keep the ship on the road for as long as possible or they genuinely need the money to fulfil a contract/s that they expect any time soon.

Good spot that. We have a branch of WSG in Nigeria. It seems to just do some basic security jobs atm.

If you go round nearly all the African countries, they all seem to have initiatives to build/upgrade/ improve multiple airports around their countries. A lot of the airport construction seems to be funded by Chinese money.

I suspect, judging by all the MOU activity over the years that WSG has been involved in bidding for work in quite a few.

However, with this company, the news keeps getting better and better. I've not sold any on this spike, I de -risked last year. I'm holding my balance through the drill campaign.

They were originally listed on the TSX, they dual listed on AIM in 2017. The AIM listing is the dominant market.

I haven't got a clue. The SP looked like it was taking a break this morning as people took profits, then we had Exxon news and we are off again. The higher we are when we start drilling the better. Long way to go here . It just keeps getting better and better, what a fantastic prospect. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be holding stock in a minnow with such fantastic prospects.

The drill after the next one will be an appraisal on Hammerhead. Probably in April. We might well have a result on the Hammerhead appraisal well before ECO starts its drill campaign, thank you Exxon, v handy as Hammerhead looks to extend into Orinduik (slide 11 in the presentation)

At the AGM, Fowler, when pressed about MOUs and LOIs i.e. are there any more? Responded by saying 'more than you know about, but I can't say any more'.

So, not only did they win a whole load of smaller contracts which were documented on their website but the African project has progressed. Clearly the negotiations had been going on for some months/ years. They hoped to sign by the end of the year. We know from recent comms. that the final draught of the contract was written, Fowler and Baldry flew out to the client, they were asked to sign the contract ( which effectively finalises it ) and leave it with the host government for them to get final approvals and sign. That was two months ago with the Xmas/new Year holidays in the middle.

SL is about €4.5-5miilion per annum. Iran €24 million per annum. We were told at the AGM that Africa is between the two. So, being conservative, perhaps €6-9million per annum.

II ownership here is not high, it is largely a retail stock. Retail lost the faith with PF , only a firm contract will bring back belief. Then retail will flock back and this BB will be inundated.

With every RNS/trading statement I re assess my position here. I can't see it going much lower, the basic business is doing pretty well, growing steadily, they have plenty of cash, did a smart bit of M&A and there are two contracts, both transformational (as well as plethora of others in the background) which are tantalisingly close .
