AB gave an interview about Musonoi in which he stated that Musonoi was a superb asset and the best that he and/or RRR was ever likely to get. The putative figures from Gecamines was 240kt of copper and 24kt of cobalt. RRR was in the process of procuring a JORC when it was nicked and RRR had already identified that the asset was better than thought: which is why it was nicked.

IMHO what RRR will be offered as part of this PPP JV will surpass Musonoi in quality and in scale.

2. VUP sued because Gecamines had paid $5mil over out of the $20mil and retained $15mil. Glencore was sued because VUP said that Glencore had guaranteed the $20mil.

3. RRR has written judgements in the case in its favour as to the substantive matter, as to costs and as to damages. The matter went to appeal and RRR won.

4. It has even confirmed the document numbers in the RNSs.

If you mean the $15mil held by Gecamines, no that is still at Gecamines. As you know because you do your research and have total memory recall: Gecamines gave an undertaking to the Arbitration Court to pay the $15mil to only those parties and in the quantums determined by the Arbitration Court. As there are only two parties to the Arbitration, VUP and RRR, it can only be paid to those two parties.

Regardless in DRC the rule is, if you pay the wrong party then you pay twice. So even if Gecamines had paid the monies away, it would still have to pay us in due course.

Given the current standing of Kabila and his family in the DRC, I don't see anyone sticking their necks out by trying to help them in an extra-judicial manner.

Look Davey, it is not for me to do your reading and/research. I suggest you read the RNSs and listen to the interviews/broadcasts without having pre-conceived ideas and do some thinking.

First of all the Arbitration is done via the Arbitration Court ie., it is a legal process. Just like we have our courts in the UK and we have the Government, they are not the same thing.

The last meeting of the Arbitration Court was supposed to sign off a pre-agreed deal with VUP. However, VUP turned up and started making legal arguments that had been dismissed some time previously. The CoS, (the President of the Arbitration Court) said it would be helpful if RRR obtained a ruling from Le Cour de Cassation (their Supreme Court). RRR has been doing that. Until such time as the Judgement is published in our favour we are at a standstill. RRR has said it understands the Arrete or Judgement is in our favour but it is yet to be published. So these are distinct steps: the Arrete/Judgement has been created but not yet published. The new term for the Cour de Cassation started last week and that should mean the delay is now ended.

This speaks to RRR's good standing in DRC. If they had any doubts about RRR as a partner this deal would not have been signed.

As to Sock Puppet's stupid comment about being in competition. This is a PPP JV. If you can't operate the mining side which provides the funds then you will get nowhere near a deal like this. It is Patrick's deal not RRR's. RRR was brought for the mining side. Patrick could not do the mining side.

Likely the DRC bods didn't want to trust a Chinese, Australian or US company with the mining side. They need the deal to be clean with the mining side generating the funds. As AB has previously said, RRRR/AB' s behaviour over the VUP case has shown the character of him and the company.

People need to read what is in the RNS and not what they want surmise is in it.

1. "Red Rock and its associates to be granted copper-cobalt mines" This follows what AB said in his last Broadcast to the Nation. In it he was explaining that we would be given mines and not licences. This housing is needed immediately and giving us licences that need five years' work and $50mil spending on them doesn't cut it. They want the revenue generating now, to fund the housing now.

2. There will be no upfront cost for the mines because of the PPP JV and the grant will be coming from the Presidential Office.

3. The DRC Gov is funding the pre-fab factories.

4. The initial financial cost of the social housing programme is now secured, from external sources.

5. Expert advisers will ensure that we select sites ready for production.

6. This is as as dammit to free money.
