I suppose there's a chance the company is keeping us out of the loop because they're expecting good results and want to pressure private investors to sell before the price rockets.

There's obviously some reason the company refuses to give investors any meaningful updates.

No, here's what I said in the comment you're replying to: "I put that down to over-enthusiasm rather than a deliberate intention to mislead". But it's a huge project and the refusal to offer details, updates or any plan is a worry that hasn't even been explained.

I collected the 1-minute tick data at the time. I assume it's accurate, but confirm it yourselves if you intend to use it for anything.

According to the data I got, the price opened at 5.8p on 24th September. It climbed to 7.1p by 8:08 and gradually fell back to 6.5p over the next 20 minutes. Those prices are before the 10:1 consolidation, so it was up to 71p based on people's expectation of the potential the BT offered.

As someone who seems to know this company better than most on here, I'm surprised you didn't leap at the chance to get out at that price. For my part, I still think the BT has enormous potential if: 1) it actually works, and 2) they're capable of ever bringing it to market.

The deadlines Gerard quoted were never achievable from the start. But I put that down to over-enthusiasm rather than a deliberate intention to mislead. If it has the potential it seems to, it would take an astoundingly inept management team not to make a success of it, imo.

A commitment of government support is another major milestone that could be announced at any time.

Molnupiravir is for mild to moderate cases and the results have been known for a while. I assume any effect on Synairgen's price has already happened. Just my opinion though.

I usually ignore the conspiracy stuff, but does it look like the price was being driven down to fill a large order and now we're seeing where it should have been?

Blessed22 - I only watched the Home Trial section and the Q&A but there was no mention in November of results being weeks away, and I can't find any record anywhere of a November 30th webinar.

Perhaps he misspoke or perhaps you misremembered.

I'm watching the webinar right now and it says there'll be a follow up with patients at day 28. That means there's no way the results could have been weeks away since they hadn't dosed the final patient. So I still think you're mistaken but I'll update here in a few minutes.

I don't think it will get that low unless the BT gets pushed back again (without any further details...again) next spring.

But if another couple of overly-hyped, over-tweeted deals fall through it'll sail past 19p on its way down to 12p.

Page 22 of yesterday's presentation shows that Mexico, Germany and Argentina only finalized approval for the trial in the past two months. I suspect that could be the main reason for the delay.
