It hasn't risen much on the Quadrivio news because the name of the partner doesn't mean much to the future value of the share at the moment. It will become more meaningful once the bank is actually established and licensed (Mar - Apr '21) and those partners begin actually financing securitisations through it but for now, naming the partner is serving to stabilise our position by providing increased confidence in the proceedings. We have to expect that they would not be allowed to name the partner if the deal were not proceeding as anticipated.

Any news that doesn't decrease the share price is good news - this is the best way to look at it.

Not that tight. We've seen this go up 0.2p+ in one day before. That's all it needs to hit the option price.

Erring on the conservative side, I think it wouldn't be unreasonable to expect around the 6p mark.

On the hopelessly optimistic side - 16p.

Personally, I wouldn't be upset if it just stays in the 0.5 - 0.7p range as I'm in profit already. Averaged at 0.47p currently due to topups.

It reads to me that Quad are one funding partner of a group that will form/fund the captive bank.
Looks to me that there are a group of funding partners collectively buying a yet to be named bank which will ultimately be SYME's captive bank at the end of Q1 '21.
If it's supposed to have 8bn of funding over 4 years, Quad have 2bn under management so there's year one covered.
I think we will see more clarity when we get the first securitisation numbers in.

It's unique tech. They have no competitors and an anticipated $3tn market up for grabs.

There are lots of high value companies with share prices 10,000x SYME's that are not even close to unique in their market with tens of billions of shares in issue. Apple is an off the top of the head example - 17bn shares in issue, not unique in their market.

That's my understanding anyway. Always happy to be corrected if I have it wrong.

The important part is that SYME isn't buying or selling anything, they are just processing transactions and collecting a fee.

Big banks do this already through secured loans to companies which are recorded as debts on the companies' books.

The reason SYME will be so successful is that it allows companies to access that same type of money (loans secured against stock assets) for the same purpose whilst recording the loans as income, NOT as debts. Think of it like a corporate payday loan between the bank and the company where SYME take a commission from the bank's fee for processing the transaction.

"Strategic agreement" doesn't mean anything though without the numbers and terms associated with the agreement. It actually reassures me that the price doesn't move drastically on non-specific statements like that. We all know this is severely undervalued for it's prospects but I don't find it concerning that the price doesn't hike drastically without real data being delivered yet.

Lots of numbers have been banded about regarding this.
Best estimates with available information put share price after merger between 24p and 27p but nobody can say for certain yet because the merger prospectus has not be released yet.
100% guesswork without that prospectus though.

It doesn't really say there is a specific timeframe upon which "price sensitive" information must be announced, only that a "short delay" for information clarification is acceptable in most instances.

"short delay" is pretty meaningless to me, that could be minutes or weeks depending on the context.
