There's a big difficulty with taxing bitcoin.
Right now the government treats it as a capital asset, like a house, or shares, meaning they only get a cut of it when you sell for a profit and meaning you get a tax write off if you make a loss.

To gain the higher levels of income tax off it, they would have to acknowledge it as a valid currency and adopt it at a national level as a valid means of exchange. We aren't there yet, but if daily use for general trade becomes widespread, crazy things might happen.

I wouldn't consider these shared to have "recovered" from the covid downturn 'til around 76p. I don't know that this is possible, even with the oil prices fast rising.

The realist in me expects to see 50p happen at best.

Averaged down several times, getting my lowest buy in at 14p because I knew that if the Harbour deal went through then it would come good eventually when oil prices rose again.

If you want an even longer but much higher risk play, you have QuantumScape (NYSE:QS), who are making the solid state battery technology that will replace current li-ion batteries.
Essentially lithium ion batteries but entirely ceramics based, no electrolytes which means no dendrite growth which means batteries that effectively have an infinite number of charge cycles with no degradation/capacity loss over time - meaning cars where the battery pack outlives all the mechanical parts, perhaps many times over.

ST - To add to Bladesman's list, there's also American Battery Metals (OTCMKTS:ABML) and Sociedad Quimica y Minera (NYSE:SQM).

Specifically I think SQM is a good long play as Chile has the world's largest lithium reserve and they are the country's largest producer.

The machine is working, just not at it's full capacity of 5m units a month.
This is why they consider it "not fully commissioned" currently (today's RNS), because it is not yet producing at full rated capacity.
They probably aren't able to say it's current capacity accurately because they will be running it then stopping it and tweaking then running it again to work out the changes that need made.

Here's hoping. I spent most of last year here with a 50% loss and slowly averaged down. Have just broken even this week.

It may however mean that the creditors expect it to, which is good news for everyone here.

The fact that the ShareTalk interview cannot be published before trading restoration tells us that AZ/the BOD have every confidence that share trading will resume soon enough for the interview to matter and that the answers contained in the interview have sensitive information in them.
The only outcome from that which could be bad for us is if the sensitive information in the interview is in some way negative for the company. Either way, it indicates we will be able to trade our shares again and act accordingly on that information, whatever the information is.

They need to produce masks for some time and then extrapolate from that what the production volume is of course.
This requires time. More time than just a few hours after they switch the machine on for the first time.

This stuff takes time.

It's very apparent how few people here understand what production manufacturing is actually like in terms of installing and running industrial machinery like this.
They never come out of the box running at full capacity.
Surely having some sellable product coming off the line is waaaay better news than having none?
