Listen to our latest Investing Matters Podcast episode 'Uncovering opportunities with investment trusts' with The AIC's Richard Stone here.
Anyone noticed how major CAD & US oil stocks have moved roughly 15% this week and are motoring towards the previous highs of around + 30% from here and here we are in harbour hovering around 5% above a near term dip last week. 60£ in profit on 3.5k shares since last Friday. Should I sell up and invest in MEG energy or something and come back once it runs up a bit more or what?

Seems alright if he gets elected again, I like the statement about making it easier for businesses getting access to capital because that could really help us out.
Also, although I am pro- extending maternity leave in principle, the extra needed economic support for families to procreate should further legitimize Toyakev as a leader people want and the last thing we want is more political uncertainty.
I've come to the conclusion that financing success won't happen for a third time (probably blamed on interest rates now) and the goal posts will move again and also, after reading through the RNS's and looking at maps that there isn't enough water in Saudi Arabia to mine more than a small amount.
Just wanted to say that anyone who is invested here is crazy and that Harry Adams is a fraudster. If you think gold is a good investment then why would you pick this, very risky and unlikely of success perpetual loser of a company, over any number of producing yet barely profitable mines which stand to gain substantially when gold is back above 2k$ an oz? Crazy.
You missed why people invested in here to begin with..... Whether you think the sealion field will get developed or not. That is the question. You can do your own analysis based on what you think the chance of success times how you value a yearly discount for the time of money and then work out if you think it's fair value or not. Some people obviously think currently it's less than 14.5p. Touting an algorithmic stock analyser that thinks CNE is largely undervalued kind of shows to me you have a lazy brain and a bad attitude. It takes a real ****** to take a simply wall Street article based on algorithms as a reason to buy shares or not .........
Overbought? Just because the rsi is in the'overbought' level it doesn't mean it's coming back at all. I expect the share to plateau when in the normal range as opposed to pulling back, like last time. Trying to trade the top for a 5% pullback seems nuts to me with where the company is at now. Better to wait for the dividend if anything to try for a few % in my opinion.
Not a bad trade.... To do with FID, harbour said in its results today that their official exit is imminent so one can be pretty sure the regulatory consent between rkh and navitas should be announced 'imminently' too, so as long as FID comes before Nov 24 then no need to extend the exploration license, should be on a production one by then.

According to the euribor graph on wikipedia the 1 year rate has been around -0.2% prior to 2020 and is currently 1.1%. I make the award, at current exchange 230£M Gross, 80% of which is £184M gross to RKH. Theres more details about the award here; https://icsid.worldbank.org/services/arbitration/convention/process/award
I consider this a get rich slowly investment and aren't heavily invested here at the moment so only follow the board loosely you see.
Will have to wait and see.
Can't remember posting here in April, must have been when I bought my shares.
Isn't it a bad sign when news isn't given to the market until the last minute? It usually means there is a spanner in the works somewhere, so after a court case closing, for a jury to be taking so long to make a verdict, doesn't this mean the chance of success here has to be increasingly lower with the passage of time? I can see a bottom fishing opportunity looming......
That's the same reason I invested here, I think a pe10 would only be possible if the company gets a premium for being the lowest cost producer but I think phase 1 in 2025 is a bit optomistic. It took the company over a year just to get connected to the power line. I sure hope the coming news flow prior to the next placing gets the shares high enough to soften the next round of dilution. Not sure how much the company can lend from it's future earnings but am yet to see above a 4X ebitda debt covenant on a companies balance sheet. I am assuming VB's 30M$ will be all that's needed.

Hedging with puts @ 9$ might be a smart move but if you think the gas price (NYMEX) is going to be above 10$ by winter and still high all next year I am just as happy with no hedges myself. My only concern is whether any drilling rigs are available in the near future. I hope so, placing was at the right time for the money regardless in my view, so the company is good there at least......
Van2000 is short here? Didn't know you could short a company this small. About the share capital, is that the 2.6M or so vision blue has left to acquire? Think I remember the plan was for them to excercise the rest of the 9p warrants when there wasn't a need to do a new prospectus....
I do also believe the company is profitable and able to fund the studies without a cash injection but live in hope that it speeds things along a bit. If we're lucky it will although the company doesn't seem in a rush for it.
