Can't see any ref to 3V from Skeleton. I think Skeleton is more power and less IOT.

It does seem as though the parties are working towards some sort of deal rather than going to full blows . I still think a licence deal is the most likely outcome. Not sure how it might take onboard historic infringements,,,,,,,,

Who knows what Musk may or may not do? Would see Kencarv points as more relevant at present. However.....post Truckstart, which was a bit of a fiasco, I think AK realised that Cpx was too small and too lowly capitalised to be getting into bed with OEM motor manufacturers. Better plan was to focus on more lower hanging fruit such as IOT..and particularly so after 3v developments. But this IOT area does have a sizeable automotive element which would be valuable to a car company (not just key fobs).
The big change in automotive though is the transformed pace of change towards EV by legislation. This will not have gone unnoticed so I suspect automotive power is once again moving higher up the agenda, and this will not I believe be funded by Cpx. There is a hell of a lot more going on in the background than is in the public domain IMO.

Yes it's one of those ironies. The sp was certainly over 100p for a time back in the early days on the lower number of shares in issue. The other thing to ponder is the potential valuation if this was say floating today with what it has in terms of manufacturing capability/IP and even forecast sales. Plus the icing on the cake of a possible big win on the Tesla case.
Look at the valuations given to the likes of ITM and Ceres for eg.

Yes I would see the lack of forecasts as a positive if you know what I mean..nudge nudge.
Also AK must be happy with that position as he could no doubt easily get some out as he is paying the bills here.
Maybe they have been so blown away with recent orders they want to see if it lasts.!

My advice to the new lady would be to avoid doing interviews on Justin the Clown's show. She comes across as far too sensible anyway.

'The collapse of the agreement with Murata'...... That's not quite right. Murata decided for strategic reasons to move out of this (supercaps) space. It is a huge company operating in a myriad of other electronics markets. Cpx has excellent ongoing relations with Murata..indeed Murata engineers have been helping with the installation of the production lines at the new factory in Sydney.

12p ....no chance. The most likely scenario is a Tesla licence. Anyone expecting a bid is setting themselves up for disappointment. However if it was to happen then it would be several multiples of 12p.

Agree. Musk definitely aware IMO. More to the point this technology is finally coming of age. The Murata deal was a company maker and fitted perfectly with the company's ambitions. I need to do more work but I value this at £80m based on the sales figure projections.

It did strike me that the earlier non exec had some of the qualities needed for the ceo job. He might not though wish to take on such a role.

I'm pleased for you. Am also up finally after several years in the doldrums. The 3p placing shares certainly helped my averaging. If Teslas ever decide to bid then they wont be getting anything based on a bombed out share price.
With the larger number of shares I still think the sp should be nearer 20p in light of the growth potential and new ability to deliver volume at competitive prices post the Murata deal.

The real thin ones will be produced on the third Murata line which comes onstream next year. These are the ones that might be used in things like smart cards and maybe even smart phones. Now that would really put a turbo boost on the share price!

If Tesla went hostile at 20p that would sort out his problems -:)
For him £80m would be the equivalent of £3k for you and me...arf arf

It may pause for breath after the rise but IMO there is multi-bagger potential here. Maybe needs one or two new institutional investors. As to what it might be worth : Ilika is valued at £140m and this at £26m. I think CPX has better growth potential.
Next catalysts for the sp might be news on the legal front (two big cases pending) and maybe news of new licencees.
The R&D credit is not an issue so that is probably baked in already.

The next results will show the balance sheet incorporating the Murata assets. This will give a substantial boost to the NAV.

Think you have dates wrong for 2020/2021? Very good update on trading showing that momentum is actually building. The reference to the legals is obviously limited by what they can say. IMO I believe Maxwell will settle and take out a licence..and that will be big bucks to account for their infringements. Market cap is crazy low for what they have now post Murata.

As for this year..is anyone thinking of asking Qs or submitting written Qs????
