One obvious and maybe overlooked point from the presentations: compared to batteries supercaps are green being mainly aluminium and carbon. Batteries have major disposal issues. Cpx should try targeting some 'green' funds.

EM is not dim..he will realise Cpx is not going away. In fact much grunt expense has already been incurred by Cpx on the Ioxus case which they won and is/was very similar.

I have been having a look at GSK to see if it is worth buying after the share price fall. It seems to be in a right old mess. CEO apparently read English or French at a posh university and was a lipstick sales person. She seems to be leading the company onto the rocks. The contrast between the excellence of this company's ceo and EW could not be starker. I do read though that GSK is desperate to increase it's presence in oncology...wonder if Avacta has crossed their radar?

I have lists of shares and one thing that stands out for me is the LOW market cap here. Obviously that's somewhat subjective. News on a new licence or the legals could drop at any time. I think more RNS Reach likely as well like the epeas/Epi one from a week or so ago.

Fair enough doze. But if the interviewer can pile in before might that not alter the tone/content of the questions. I mean he could hardly contain himself...'tell us all how wonderful and massive it will all be and how your sp will soar away' (dont tell anyone but I have loads of them)

It was a great interview though I thought the interviewer was ghastly. Each to us own.
Giles perhaps too bland but that has some merit v the over-excited puppy approach.
Does anyone know how Vox works? Are the interviewers allowed to invest in the companies they are talking about.?
More pointedly is the interviewer allowed to load up ahead in the knowledge that the interview is likely to be positive??

Some good points and a few a bit off beam. Clearly order book levels are not an issue at present. They may be in a position of having to turn down business if it carries on. My take is that the coro has in fact put more of a dampener on the Malaysian supply position than from Sydney.
The company would love to talk about who the auto and phone companies are but cannot as they sign an NDA. That is at the behest of the big boys and I'm afraid that is that. Obviously it may leak out at some stage when the products get launched.

Very solid. My advice would be to ignore the usual MM nonsense and take a longer term view. There may be still some 3p sellers around. In 6 months this could have doubled in value based on the present modest capitalisation. If this was US quoted it would be valued nearer $500m IMO on the basis of having world leading products on the cusp of mass adoption.

Got to feel the legal situation is moving up higher in Elon Musks' 'in tray'.
Maxwell has to do something by March 26th. Cannot see this going to the 2022 end game on the legals as Tesla know they will probably lose. Still feel a licence would be best solution all round.
Company has advanced its results and seems to be upping its game on comms.

Yes there will be nothing in the historic numbers to excite....it's all about the outlook.

So do you think it is worth buying the shares before the results?! Wonder why results have been brought forward. First time in Feb....previously March and often late March. Might signify something or nothing. As ever it's about the tone and general forward guidance on order levels/prospects. The normal pattern has been for the shares to drop post results as it still appears to many to be 'jam tomorrow'. Wonder if it will be different this time.

There is no way he can breach confidentiality on the the smart phone or tier 1 automotive company.
As for Epishine and Epeas have gone semi-public in mentioning cpx he might want to develop that angle.

Can't say I'm overly bothered whether the phone approval came from Cpx or from the Murata deal. If and when it happens then the revenues/sales from any deal will belong to CPX ...

Just one further thought on the phone situation; for the company to reference it publicly in an RNS would seem to me to indicate that it (the supercap product) has been on trial with the phone company for some time and has passed it's tests.

I would say Apple is the most likely. But any agreement would be under a strict confidentiality arrangement..quite simply if it were breached the deal could be cancelled (once finalised). You will not prise it out of the company before they are allowed to make it public.
Equally can see no reason why it might not be Samsung or...............etc etc
