Seems like the royalties dried up as fewer took up the option ..maybe preferring to steal the IP. Be interesting to see whether AK will go for a royalty deal with Maxwell...assuming the case is won.

You may be on the right lines..or maybe not. But if cpx was to go for a Royalty agreement would it draw a line in the sand and start afresh with Maxwell or somehow seek to incorporate punitive damages for years of infringement....all assuming they win the case or it is settled.?

One of the issues with this company..and there are several ...is that it is prey to 10/20% skimmers and maybe algos/bots.
Thus it almost automatically loses any gains. One of the main factors is that the 'profit' taker has he perceives limited downside by trading this way, since there is no chance of being blindsided by a surprise RNS, as there aren't any. Thus FOMO doesn't really apply here...might as well skim away and take crumbs of profit. See this pattern continuing (3-4p) until there is something of substance from the company.

Maybe folk on this board should be updating the PR man to let him know what is going on at the company!!

Wonder if the US guy is a bit surprised at the lack of company news. Maybe he was expecting AK to be on 24/7 promotion of the company via the usual channels. Instead it's one RNS every 6 months!! (OK last weeks update does make it more)

I don't think 20p was ever mentioned by the company. May have just been a view that someone had expressed online and it kind of got accepted as gospel. Happy to be proved wrong. Bit surprised these haven't kicked on again today in the light of what is down the track hopefully. Suspect many are fully weighted here.

Aussie mate tells me AK is on a World Cruise lasting 8 weeks. Will be back in Sept. He has asked not to be disturbed for the duration. Thus would not expect any news before then.

Got to hope AS hasn't just gone off for a two week family holiday in Skegness.

I picked on Ilika as it is loss making and forecast to remain so for the next two years. The value there is 7-8 x that of cpx. One factor is that the ceo is constantly promoting the company. Cpx ceo being based in Aus doesn't exactly help!
Main concerns are that the licence deals seem to have dried up..there may be potential licencees who are awaiting the outcome of the current legal cases. Got to pray that we are not here in a year's time with the sp at 3p. Good news is that I'm making big money on the the covid plays (mainly Avacta and SNG) as holding this is killing me. And no I don't think selling at these levels would be a wise move.

Indeed. However to pick something slightly comparable..Ilika the battery technology company. It has a market cap of £99m and is forecast to be loss making in 2021 and 2022. I don't think there are any quoted stand-alone supercap companies.

So if it's all looking good why is the market cap only £13m?

So ur saying u email this PR person and he never replies. Are you happy with that?. I thought PR stood for public relations. Perhaps this person does not exist and is merely a means by which the company gets round the fact it does not have any IR/PR/?

There is a difference between putting out news if you have to eg results and putting out releases about other matters relating to the company designed to boost investor perceptions as to its merits. If positive this tends to boost the share price. Different approaches really......

Is the SNG news in any way positive for NFX...yes/no/not sure/maybe if ???!!!
(I did plenty of research on NFX around a year ago but seem to have forgotten most of it)

Long term? Who said we are all dead in the long term. AK may not bother as gets paid a decent wage paid for by other people. What's not to like. Anyway what's the big RNS...can't see any sign of one. I should be feeling quite chipper as I hold a decent slug of Synairgen...then I look at this.

Maybe but think many here believe that much of what DG uttered was of little consequence/dreamworld stuff on the clown show. Hope not. Someone needs to get a grip here and fast.

Was doing a mental compare and contrast list between AK and EM. Make two columns and put the following into which is the most appropriate. Dynamic/ruthless go-getter/understands the value of promotion//drives the share price and funds the growth of the business using high value equity/promotes the company at every opportunity/understands the value of modern media. This was the bit for AK. Now need to give some thought for EM.
