I noticed one or two others on here saying they would rather trust Fredd1eboy, I hope that was a joke, considering he was one of the main rampers who was trying to persuade people to vote yes to the BOD to have unlimited powers to raise money at any point. I thought it was quite refreshing to have a off topic conversation, it's better than the sniping that you get on some boards. Makes the day go quicker and takes me back to my school days. My understanding is it is produced through water, there is an abundance of hydrogen in space, but not on earth. You've really stretched my brain today, as it's 50 years since I've done chemistry when at school. But I'm reasonably sure that's right, but correct me if I'm wrong, always good to learn even at my age.

BTB How long will hydrogen last? Electric is also clean and quiet and as I explained no need to top up anything as it would charge if in use or stationary. I agree with you on fertilisers that's why I'm invested in Prem because part of the company has a fertiliser element to it. They are just getting started on potash mining a high growth area ( no pun intended) .

Spymaster I think you misunderstood what I was getting at, yes I believe electric power is the future but not in the way you mean. There is a paint developed about 20+years ago through space technology which allows the whole of the vehicle be it cars buses trains or airplanes to be one big solar panel,thus powering the vehicle without the need to hook up and charge it while driving. Then there is also another system using conventional alternators driven off the wheels, so I see that the charging stations will have its place but only as a temporary fix. I can see copper playing a significant role in all of this that's why I have several significant copper miners that I'm invested in.

Sorry to have to disagree with you on this, but I'm not a luddite just practical. If something doesn't work efficiently then why would you use it? Smart meters are notoriously unreliable and inaccurate and until the manufacturers get it right I won't be having one. I know loads of people who have had problems with them, many on there second or third meter to me that's not progress. I'm fully invested in battery technology but it has little to do with smart meters and all these charging stations that they are building will be obsolete in the not too distant future, so maybe I'm not the Luddite that you think I am. I would like to see a T/O but not yet, I would like NM to do what he said and get full value for shareholders, with him being a major shareholder I'm confident that this will be the case. After all he seems to be a man of his word and so far has delivered on so many fronts, i trust him to deliver as promised. Probably selling off tenements piece by piece would achieve just that, plus it would allow the less patient to move on when they have had enough. I've been here a long time now and I'm more than happy to wait a little longer for the full reward. All imo.

Well kcfb, as I remember it Newcrest had about 12% then BHP bought 6.1% then BHP bought another 5% so in reality Newcrest could buy more to restore their advantage. Maybe I'm wrong but that's how I remember it?

Those smart meters you mention Risehall, it wouldn't be so bad if they worked,but they really don't, they give false readings or just stop working altogether. Not so smart are they? I do know I won't be having one, as long as I have a hole in my arse or longer.

It was that pair of to55ers who signed us up for the EU, then spent all of the money and nearly bankrupted the country? Just for good measure the very person who started the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq (remember the weapons of mass destruction) that has now been disproved is made the "peace envoy " ? It doesn't get any better does it. On top of that he has personally enriched himself to such an extent that he doesn't have to work again, oh and let's not forget how he has kept money abroad and tied up in "Shell Companies "to avoid taxes. All that is happening is that Newcrest are maintaining equilibrium with BHP and not letting them steal the initiative to gain an unfair advantage, basically to keep their hat in the ring. Perfectly understandable as they were first on the scene, and this fits perfectly with solgolds agenda, keeps everyone on their toes until other prospective purchasers show their hand. The perfect storm for solgold shareholders! Hopefully. All imo of course.

Hi Tom, couldn't agree more lovely price for a top up. Can't understand why the price went down so much when there was 11m more shares bought than sold. Pure manipulation seems to be the only explanation I can think of, still if the MMs want to do that, then that's fine by me, in fact I will probably have some more of these tomorrow, bring it on!
