Probably MMs ******* around Paddy. There has been good volumes for most of the day, so doesn't surprise me that this is ticking up ready for when news arrives. I had a top up earlier today myself, because I don't think we are going to be here for much longer.

Absolutely agree GP, why is everyone panicking no reason whatsoever. I haven't sold anything, yet with hindsight which is always a wonderful thing I may have sold some of my holding, but in some ways I'm glad that I didn't, because I've protected my average which is important or will be when this really gets moving. I did sell some solgold shares to buy here and ggp, that seems to have been a good move as both have done ok, but generally once I have bought into a company I like to stick with it.

It's a shame DL had to tweet, because in my experience whenever he starts to involve himself in a share, it's usually the kiss of death. Not saying it will be here ( well I hope not) just wish that he would keep his gob shut. I have tended to avoid anything that he recommends for that reason, but I'm here now and not going anywhere, maybe he will be right this time, can't be wrong all the time I suppose.

I really liked the statement that Gcm was in line with the governments energy development master plan. That tells me that the Bangladeshi government are not going to oppose any applications for mining the coal, its simply not in their interests to do so. IMHO that is the green light we've been waiting for isn't it?

Exactly GP, I had the chance to sell yesterday as we all did, but resisted because I'm here for the whole journey as I suspect a lot of you are. I believe that this could be a once in a lifetime opportunity, if you choose to sell out early that's your prerogative,but not for me. It's hard enough to find opportunities like this they don't come around very often, so why squander this chance of a lifetime. I always remember selling out too soon with lonmin and Dana petroleum, won't make the same mistake again.

Nice to see this settled at last 51/52p, that's ok nice little step up on the day. A lot more to come in the days and weeks ahead. I did say this morning that there was a lot more coming out of the woodwork, and that's proved to be the case, funny how they always seem to know when something is going on. I always use that as an indicator of some kind of progress in a shares fortune,because the new faces that have not been seen before tend to appear out of the blue. Strange that!

Just tried a dummy sell just to see how easy it is to trade, no problems to sell, so it seems that they still want your shares.

I noticed this morning that we have had several coming out of the woodwork, we must be getting close?

Brilliant Paddy, thanks for sharing. It's a bit more than a mention ggp seemed to dominate their article. Everything seemed to be about where they border our outcrops, very impressive though.

Sorry don't understand your point. What's India got to do with EU/ U.K.? Hopefully the U.K. will leave the EU with no deal, we can then negotiate our own deal with India or whoever without any interference from the EU.

Sorry to disappoint but the EU doesn't have years, it's more or less bankrupt as it is. Britain is the only country that has a strong economy even the Germans are in trouble. That's why they have made it so difficult for us to leave, they are desperate for us not to leave because we are a highly generative source of revenue.

Good morning everyone, personally I would love to see a no deal brexit, we would still trade with Europe but not be bound by European restrictive practices. We would then have more opportunities to trade with the rest of the world, which we have always have done. I can understand the Germans being worried by no deal, because about 25% of their GDP is exported to Britain, but its up to them to negotiate a separate trade deal with us, because the European Union is more or less finished, even the European Central Bank is in trouble.

Doesn't have to be and probably won't be. Westminster is thousands of miles away, won't affect commodity prices and solgold is indeed an Australian company, so why would it?

Good to hear on both accounts how about that. I do think MMs will have a tinker with share prices early doors, but you're right it really shouldn't affect ggp at all. This is one of the reasons I try to invest in other parts of the world, to avoid turmoil in the EU and England, I've seen this coming for a long time now, which is why I altered my strategy a couple of years ago.
