For what it is worth I have seen a number of well followed X accounts saying they have bought GRL on the drop, a few are suggesting there is a distressed seller who may have now completed.

The fact the company has issued no update suggests there has been no material change in it's operational performance, the placing 'worries' seem to be subsiding also.

As mentioned yesterday from a technical basis the stock is materially oversold. DYOR etc.

Finally after a LONG wait something for shareholders to get their teeth into, more news on the 9th re Kabwe, it looks like they have got everything in place re funding, maybe just maybe we will see 10p+ sooner than later, even at 10p, under the current share count SKA would only be valued at circa £6.6m.

A stock like this can move significantly on small volume, is that about to happen now, there is more than a good chance IMO.

Fall is materially overdone, the RSI sits at a 36 month low (indicates heavily oversold) this could bounce hard and still be considered cheap from a technical perspective.

IF there has been a bear raid short will have to close their positions in a thin market, any material changes within the company MUST be reported by RNS, so far nothing !

Getting harder to buy in any real size at current levels.

The statement concerning 1000oz per month was made in February, she said 'within the next couple of months we will be in that story'

As every day goes by it seems less likely a placing is incoming.

I believe momentum is about to change, for the first time in a very long while it has been possible to sell fixed price via Proquote brokers, many retail brokers use this system, ever since the Lanstead arrangement it has been nigh impossible to get a fixed sell price in ORR.

The market is a forward indicator, within a few months Lanstead will be gone, as such the share price will respond to normal market activity. My bet is the well versed are buying now at these basement levels, historically and before that abysmal funding arrangement, ORR stock has responded to modest volume activity.

In a nutshell I believe the window is closing for purchases in the .20p / .25p range.

Worth noting this hit .65p on 25th April, not sure they can technically shut off online buying for long periods of time, they have to trade at market size (stated at 2m shares) at advertised offer in any-case.

I believe if a placing was being forward sold it would (a) not have been so obvious and (b) gone on for so long, usually you may get a few days of forward selling (technically illegal) and then the placing RNS would come.

I am going for a few larger retail investor holders who have sold a %, possibly spooked by the lack of news and subsequent negative speculation posted on the boards. This may have started a smaller snowball effect as smaller holders decided to de-risk also, or maybe even a distressed seller.

This is AIM, who knows, you take your chances, look at FCM, everyone was predicting the end was nigh, bashers everywhere, the shares fell to .60p (down 60%) a few weeks later they hit 3.5p.

Around this time last year the SP fell to current levels and then moved to 1.9p in quick time.

In an interview today Brewer said that QvB is now focussing on other things as he is based in Dubai, Marula have completely broken ties with AUO actually cancelling their funding scheme with them (it was equity based)

I suspect that SKA will now move forward in a straight direction without the obvious distraction of having to wait and see in AUO were ever going to get that $500m to fund the various outfits that were hoping for a slice of cash, this is probably a good thing as it clears the air and they can seek other financiers/investors.

Over recent times many of these bombed out minnows have bounced disproportionally, some as much as 300% in a short space of time, maybe SKA will be next. The next couple of weeks here will be interesting to say the least, it does look, at long last, we may see some share price upside from a very low base.

It does seem like something may have leaked, the volume surge is the key.

Seems they have been meeting some high profile individuals in Cameroon, hopefully this will deliver the very important Mining Licence.

At some point market participants will need to discount Lanstead and consider what may happen once they have gone for good, the next couple of months may be the last chance to get shares in the current .20p-.25p range, leaving it late may be the wrong move.

Looks to me like a concerted bear raid is in operation, a load of newish bashers arriving on the BB's with scare stories at a time when a larger retail investor has reduced his holding to place funds elsewhere, a few may have followed suit, the volume in Goldstone over recent sessions does not look like forward selling of a placing IMO.

With the gold price at current levels GRL is in a far better place than when the shares were trading at this level last June, so is this an opportunity to add or buy in for a bounce, which may be a significant one.

Not without risk but that applies to all LSE minnows.

Readers have to remember that the bashers who are at work on this bulletin board are almost certainly working on behalf of short positions who are clearly in a panic given the recent update and re-iteration from the broker of their 10p a share target price, they are trying to protect their position.

Remember the both a Spreadbet company AND a market maker CLOSED their short positions a week before the company announced the settlement with the Government, the shares rose to 4.5p, up over 1p on the day.

Short positions ALWAYS deny they are shorting, they suggest it is impossible to short small companies, ask, why would individuals bash, bash and bash daily if they had no economic interest to do so.

These shares will continue to re-rate make no mistake.

Interesting around the same time last year the share price slumped to current levels and then hit 1.9p in a few sessions soon after, the RSI is sitting in heavily oversold territory currently.

Goodness knows what is going on, if the CEO stated that all was on track for 1000oz in February, surely if they are going to miss by a wide mile or there has been a change of circumstances the market needs to be informed. I am sure the Nomad would act.

Is this drop due to a stressed position(s) wanting out or just panic selling based on rumour/speculation, no doubt all will be revealed !

I make it there are only 100m warrants left to convert, interestingly these warrants were part of one of last years placings at the then price of .10p, the warrants were priced at .40p, a large premium.

My view is very few of these warrants have been sold as holders believe they will make material gains down the line, it does appear that the diamond parcel is worth significantly more than the market expected, the share price seems to have established itself around the .40p/.45p range but with news expected shortly a strong move could occur at any time.

Current m/cap of VAST is just circa £12m.

It looks to me like there has been an invasion of Artisan miners at MBE, from the photo (URL below) taken from the link provided by Schiehallion it can clearly be seen that there are over 100 temporary dwellings that have been set up on the site boundary.

This event is beyond the norm, clearly there is a conflict of interest, as others have pointed out this has occurred due to the Cameroon authorities not having experience in mining affairs and allowing both amateur and professional activity on the same licence. There have been many examples across the sector where artisan miners are removed instantly should they interfere with commercial operations, not so here it would seem.

One thing is does prove, ORR could have made a major discovery, the scale of the artisans tells you all you need to know, it is essential ORR get that Mining Licence ASAP.

In the real world a major needs to step in, one wonders if Barrack are looking on, I believe the whole in country model is too large for a minnow like ORR, project sale would deliver a LONG AWAITED value related exit point for shareholders.

Without Lanstead the share price would be flying higher IMO.

If the company had majorly missed their production levels it would need to be RNS'ed, we will see but I expect the current drop is more down to a large seller ( the person who posted here stated they were selling a chunk to move into COIN) and individuals spooked by seeing that dump.

No doubt time will tell however, as others have pointed out GRL is in a far better place (gold above $3000oz) now than before when the share price was down at these levels.
