Any deal by either Luthansa or Virgin is really likely to not benefit shareholders. Debt for equity is clearly what TCG are offering the Lenders and Bondholders. Selling off the 'silver' will only appease these 'vultures' not circling the carcass of TCG. No idea what delution on SP will be but significant I'm guessing.
All theory of course but cant see any upside so better to get out on any uptick now

Not helping the CFO 'jumping ship'. People come and go but sends a worrying signal to the market. Hence overeaction on the SP

Mmm maybe your correct but can't see much improvement so maybe go on a Saga holiday. All helps I suppose.

Becoming painful holding this stock. My 'stop' on 40p will likely get broken in the coming weeks. Very little support for Saga until the next update which on past evidence could be pretty crap.

Guess the Berenberg stance at 12p suggests little or no value in the shares with Bondholders having the right to claim 'payment' from any Luthansa funds that maybe achieved if a deal is done. Shareholders will come well down on the list of 'creditors' in a worse case scenerio. The 'rights issue' question is also a big 'drag' on the SP. If the shares are 21p what price a scrip issue. Maybe 12p so Berenberg close to 'true' value on TCG.

And really Saga are not a good company and a really bad investment for us all. To suggest their not and any negative posts by others are wrong suggests you are only fooling yourself. My 'stop' at 40p remains but how long before we get more bad news from Saga and this 'stop' is breached

If were due an update likely better to wait on averaging down until we know the impact on the UK business with the new legislation. If bad news will likely 'tank' but if good maybe a good recovery but until the update figure the SP will continue to be under pressure.
Big risk is an earnings downgrade that may result in rebasing the divi.

Reuters saying Luthansa offering to buy TCG airline in Germany but antitrust means cannot buy all of the TCG airline business

On BBC Business news said Luthansa making an offer to buy TCG German part of the business or do they mean the Airline part of TCG. Bounce today lets hope it continues.

Obviously your far to clever to take opinions from others on your obvious bad investments so you become personal with your remarks. Bit pointless really as were just 'posting names' so we can't react in other ways. Grow a pair and take your mistakes like a man??. We all make mistakes in investing and to suggest TCG is not a mistake is you just living in hope that the 'fairies' will come to the rescue. Enjoy your day.

Your correct on the bad publicity. TCG was always viewed as number one in the UK for.overseas holidays. Now the news is all bad so the public will avoid them and use other more stable outfits. Most have recent memories of Monarch etc.

If you think Lenders will borrow TCG 400million in addition to their existing debt as a favour then were all misguided. If, and thats a big if, they extend the 'debt' to include another 400million then they will demand serious 'assett' cover with interest charged at severe rates. The 'default' situation with both Lenders and Bondholders now looks precarious. My guess is no agreement will be reached. Bondholders will likely demand their 'notes' now take precedent over the 'assetts' with no regard for shareholders.
All theory of course but TCG look to be on their ' final holiday'. Hope I'm wrong but sure time will tell. Looks like past 'ramping' on possible buyers was just that.

News on Yahoo Finance. TCG talking to Lenders after bonds dropped further. Sounds a bit worrying when the statement is reduced to just a few words. Certainly causing worries if the SP is an indicator.

If FCRM is trading well and the SP gets 'tanked' like this god forbid what happens if the next update is bad.

Who exactly is giving this info to Sky. Its certainly not helping the SP just 'spooking' the market. Me included.

Sounds like more bad news about to hit the SP. Someone asked about my 12p 'stop' price. Before I had it pegged at 15p but.Berenberg downgrade was to 12p so my 'stop' price reduced to 12p.
If the news on 'lending breaches' is bad then this 'stop' will likely be 'hit' and from there its only time before its a penny stock (1p)
All theory of course but I'm giving up on TCG being a recovery stock. Only Bondholders and Lenders the likely winners at the end and even these will probably only get % on the pound.

Obviously I was wrong on then rights issue question. But I'm correct or not that Saga and AA were held by the same 'hedge fund' who loaded both companies with huge debt and took their 'special payments' then dumped what was left onto the 'markets' for investors like us to unwisely invest in??
However you look at it any rights issue would be at a serious discount to the present SP. They would likely offer it only to a selective few 'major shareholders' to make sure it is underwritten. On that basis the present.SP would seriously 'tank'.
All theory of course but I maintain my 40p 'stop' will be hit. When is anybody's guess but for me any rights issue presents more downside.
