Not sure yet whether to just batten the hatches down and hold if it does fall further or get out before. Whatever I do I always seem to pick the wrong option! When I sell hoping the SP will go lower it rises and when I hold it goes down!

I read on one of your previous posts you bought back in last Wednesday. Just curious as to what your strategy on this buy is looking forward. Will this be a long term hold for you now or are you still trading?

FTSE currently up 2.2% and banks well down; could down go further on any bad FTSE days?

They were given this vote in 2014 when the Scottish people overwhelmingly voted NO. When campaigning for that vote first started the SNP led by Alex Salmond at the time stated in their Manifesto it was a "once in a lifetime opportunity". In the closing days in the run up to the day of the vote the polls were showing a clear lead for NO. The SNP then changed the wording to "once in a generation opportunity"! One of the positives for me in this was the coming together of politicians from all the major parties to campaign TOGETHER for the no vote; pity they did not come together to get Brexit through first time as was mandated by the British people!

The SNP have said they will vote against the deal that has been negotiated! Amongst other things they say this deal has "sold their fishermen down the river"? How do they come to this conclusion? The deal that has been agreed over fishing is far better than what is currently the status quo remaining in the EU. They said that it does not give control of Scottish waters back to Scottish Fishermen? Yet the SNP want Scotland to remain in the EU, where they would have to abide by the CFP? All they are doing now is winding up the ratchet to try and force another Indy referendum.

I am in no way suggesting that on Tuesday morning every problem in the UK has been resolved. When I said you set yourself up for it I was referring to your contradictory posts on 24th December; 08:55 saying that you would not sell this year holding on for 70p, and then within 3 hours announcing you had sold the lot!

Lib-Dem leader been shouting all along we must get a deal; now on Breakfast News this morning says the Lib-Dems will vote against the deal that has finally been negotiated when the chimps in HOC vote next week!

Would a no deal Brexit have much influence on SP? I am thinking a large multi national company so should be minimal? Interested to hear other opinions.

I read the article. He does not say bullish on big banks in general, he has maintained a buy rating on Goldman Sachs. Lloyds cannot be compared to Goldman Sachs operations?

Looks like we are going to close in the red :-(

Barclays and Natwest both currently up over 2% each. Lloyds limping along 0.6%. Strange?
