Agreed Hewhodares1. Unless you're planning to trade it makes no difference what price you get in now - whether 140p, 150p, 180p you'll either lose most of your stake if P3 is poor or see many multiples if P3 is successful.

So if you're in til results and beyond just buy on the bell and forget about it!

Testing. Without strong, accurate data on the spread around the UK they would not have picked up on the variances between the South East and the rest of the UK. Just reiterates how important testing is even when the numbers come down later in the year...

Testing has a number of important uses.

The Home Trial has been so poorly marketed that I bet by the end at least half the volunteers will have been synairgen shareholders or parents/relatives of synairgen shareholders!

The question was in regards to Monday. And the far more cautious language used today by the advisors when asked if this new strain will evade the current vaccines will certainly raise eyebrows and lead many to question whether a mutation, if not this one another, may cause problems further down the road.

Of course the less effective vaccines are the bigger the potential value here.

Without doubt in my mind the lack of clarity over the effect new mutations will have on vaccine efficacy will bring interest to synairgen. Who knows what Monday brings but I wouldn't be at all surprised if we see a steady rise back over 200p.

I think the new stricter measures won't make much difference to us but the lack of clarity over whether or not this new mutation will affect vaccine efficacy will this investment more appealing. Even if it doesn't it is a reminder that this could happen down the road and makes the business case for sng001 even stronger.

This potential issue with the q16s and q32s is the only reason I reduced my holdings in the past few weeks - ncyt still makes up 25% of my portfolio but it was at 50% previously. In my opinion if the Qs are rolled out right across the UK and eventually make up a significant core of the UKs testing strategy going forwards then we will without doubt reach midcap status. Ut's a gamechanger in my eyes.

PROmate is meant to make the handling simpler but still some problems persist. It would be useful to get some clarity on this at some point.

I've seen a few comments on here recently starting to doubt this investment with comments such as 'if this really is such a good investment why aren't funds loading up???Why is the sp so low? I think it's worth noting that funds have different risk tolerances to PIs. Funds and investors with deep pockets will wait for official news before loading up just like what happened with the DHSC contract. It still amazes me that we landed a contract worth between £150m and ~£800m whilst on an mcap of about £250m mcap and it still took a couple of days for the share price to really shift through the gears.
There are other reasons too. There will be many people taking advantage of the uncertainty by shorting this (well below the 50% threshold).

If results are as good as we are expecting in January we'll all be rewarded handsomely. The share price does not reflect the financial situation right now, it just reflects the many unknowns that will slowly become knowns.

Despite the unsubtle dig at the Q16s and 32s deployed in hospitals and other settings, it's clear Captain S has shifted from his view that PCR is obsolete to now hoping and praying that avacta get the lion's share of the near person testing market. That's right, both are necessary and both can thrive.

Could someone explain the difference between our relationship to private clinics and then our relationship with Wren via Versalab? Is it that with most private clinics we just provide tests and so make a tenner a test but with Versalab we provide the Q machines on-site also???

Good post Porky but just one correction - the last holding rns was on the 18th but that was reported late, the last director buy was earlier on the 13th November.

I think we'll be getting the full year results in mid January.

I resisted all day adding more but now I've finally given in - think £1.34 is still a steal!

I'd be happy with boohoo leaving Arcadia alone and focusing on all the new brands it's recently acquired - the only reason I was hoping for a bid was for the City interest and inevitable short-term share price pump

I don't think FOMO exists for nova right now, it is clearly trading in a range of about 800-900 and only significant news will change that. I don't think there's any reason to be concerned as it was always going to require patience to see big returns from here - the days of 300% rises in a month are long gone.

Well my prediction of a steady build to 325 isn't looking so good right now!

If the lazy sods just get up a bit earlier they can buy it now!
