Many things are 'built in' to 'a degree' but official news will still affect the share price, just not to multiples of where we are now. First dose could still be after christmas so if we get that RNS tomorrow the sp will move north. Last patient dosed for the home trial will be seen as a positive, as would news on the Activ home trial.

If all these things are announced relatively soon I see the share price hitting new highs.

I just stated that I bought back the shares I sold a few weeks ago. I don't regret paying a few percent more, the outlook is far rosier now.

Haha Kaeren, well you'll see that I ramped novacyt this morning despite wanting a dip to top up so I am a genuine, honest holder!

We started this pandemic relying on PCR testing, we then saw a gradual shift towards mass testing using LFTs before this move back to PCRs. Being a year into the pandemic and the focus back on PCR testing is exceptional news for novacyt. It makes the long term investment case significantly rosier and has led me just now to buy back all the shares I sold two weeks!

Big, the point I was trying to make is that my friends did not commit fraud... it was far more difficult to design a scheme for self-employed than the employed who were on a payroll.

Don't bother with the troll, of course no-one thinks £42 is nailed on. The stars are aligning though and the fears over possible vaccine-evading mutations will only add to the investment case. £42 is a 30 bagger from here and no way in hell would the odds be 30/1 that's for sure. I'd go as far as to say there's a 3/1 chance of it hitting £42 at some point - amazing risk/reward!

Mr Big was it not to do with the potential for fraud ? I know a few people who got good furlough payments but had actually wound down their self-employment. One had an online business and another a private tutor. They got paid based on the average earnings over the past three years even though they hadn't been working for a few months prior to covid...

Nah CW in this instance I don't think we can say first doing RNS is priced in because we're only down here due to negative sentiment. We've had the shift now so we wait to see just how far it can run... it's possible you're right but it's also more than possible that we see 5-10% daily rises all of next week up to about 250p.

I think the UK government have tried their best and have been far more compassionate and caring than I would have epxected so I give them credit. But they are staffed with weak ministers in highly important positions and have certainly lost the public's trust early on with a number of grave errors e.g letting Cummings stay on and excusing his flagrant disregard for the rules.

The fact that almost every European nation has struggled with containing the virus shows how complicated and complex it is to get under control.

Before you go blaming the general population for not complying don't absolve the government and media of blame - public distrust in our leaders and institutions has grown out of control thanks to current and former administrations. To then get the UK public to listen to Boris and his merry men was always going to be a struggle.

Additionally, the nations that have got the virus under control have tended to either be sparsely populated or highly authoritarian. Most of us have no interest in living under Taiwanese/Chinese/Singaporean style rule
