Right now 1.3m x $155 = $201m

The valuation disconnect will certainly close to something like 20% (currently more like 90%). Is it possible WeShop crashes to such a degree that WeCap is now fairly priced at 3p? Sure it’s possible.

Is it possible WeShop doubles from here to $300 and WeCap gets to within 15% disconnect ie 45p a share? Also yes.

For that reason I see this as a free shot at 3p.

Possibly but with strong enough SGC and TNBC data plus some commercial validation we could well be waiting on that all important 6103 in-human data this time next year at £2+ which whilst short of top end takeover hopes would still have been well worth committing so heavily down here.

Sure technically but small cap biotech is relatively unique in the way successful companies are so commonly bought out - there’s a ‘packaging for sale’ that goes on in small cap pharma in a more direct and clear way than in other sectors.

That is much more true of Avacta now than under Alastair.

And obviously we won’t be seeing a greater PFS at this stage as there hasn’t been the time but we all know what stronger data means, equally great disease control rate and improved tumour shrinkage across the board.

No way does Avacta get away with subpar data but there is a bit of leeway because Dox is not that effective against SGC despite being the best that's out there. If Ava6000 shows an improvement on the p1a sgc data then that's SGC in the bag... it might not give us much of an insight into whether TNBC data is going to blow the SOC out of the water but good enough data that makes approval for this indication a shoe-in unlocks the financing to get 6103 to where we need it.

So the forthcoming news is critical but anything from slightly better than p1a to blowing p1a out of the water will considerably derisk the investment..
