Back in early 2018 when V shot up volume was regularly over 40 million a day and on one occasion was over 110 million... so I will place my bets on a squeeze on vanadium wiping out Duferco in a second (if they happen to sell).

It's not up 37% in a month, where did you get that from?! I think it's up about 5-10% from a very healthy base. For the long term success of the company we couldn't really ask for much more (okay 10% again!).

I don't buy that Big, after all the area of Donetsk you're referring to in the 9-1 vote is already self-governed as the Donetsk's People Republic with the major cities already run by the Russian supporting rebels. They would be looking to invade beyond the DRP and are amassing more troops across the length and breadth of the border...

Seems pretty obvious that Putin is simply unhappy with the Ukrainian's growing affinity to the West and the fear of another ex Soviet state, especially one as geographically important as Ukraine, joining NATO is what's causing the stand off.

I'd like it to be the case Sonic but it is going to take *something* to see enough buying pressure to have us climbing nearly 35% back to 240p and the re-emergence of Lassa at this stage isn't it, nor is the uncertainty over global events, although without doubt a profitable company with almost its market cap in cash will certainly be seen as a safe haven...

If we get a co-prep or a positive R&D update or even get wind of more II buying with J O Hambro close to the 3% TR1 threshold maybe then we could see a sharp rise back to a slightly more palatable level.
