Is it priced in at £35m mcap? Yes. Is there any signs that those sitting on high averages and are hoping to make their money back are going to? Not for me currently although a lot can change with such a sound balance sheet.

Such exaggeration on here, pretty much all the figures were as expected.

The revenue for the first quarter is low but who exactly was expecting more? Certainly not the likes of PI100 who told us all this week it was going to be awful despite now pretending to be shocked by it.

If cash costs for the quarter were $25.9/kgV and V price was just above $40/kgV for the period and sales outpaced production then it's been a fruitful period cash-wise.

It's probably in our interest as TGR holders to see price weakness / stability for a little while longer... will make it difficult for new projects to get funding and develop all the while the demand for graphite rises and supply gets tighter - then like an elastic band it snaps and graphite prices soar but as it takes considerable time for new projects (that will now get funded given the new graphite price environment) to develop and come online TGR then benefits from supernormal profits for an extended period.

And of course if prices just go up and up from here we'll all do pretty well also!

Can't you just stick to your word and save the posting for when there's something new to discuss? You've only got to wait one day.

As far as I can see Argo has no share price runway now. What we’ve seen for maybe a month or more is a 10% pump every time Bitcoin shows sudden strength, a rally to as much as the high 13s before a sell off back to the 11p mark. Nobody is willing to hold it for more than a few days in case they get caught out on the wrong side of a sudden placing.

There’s trading money to be made if you play it smart and Bitcoin shows strength but until clarity on funding (and I’m not really sure what that could entail) that’s about it.

And anyway HMHG if you read my posts you'll see that my thesis here is that positioning now is a very sound long term investment decision. It might take some time for the inevitable supply squeeze to play out, it might happen in the coming months, I obviously don't know but Bushveld has reached the scale and size to manage better than most in a downturn and to thrive in the next boom cycle.

I can sit this out for another year or so if necessary to see substantial returns, some of these funds can't.

Liquidity has fallen off a cliff on AIM and funds/institutions will be needing cash for all sorts of reasons - when liquidity is needed immediately that trumps all other considerations.

Should probably point out that whilst I see bitcoin rising I still don't see Argo in anyway keeping up... I'd expect north american miners to jump 100% before Argo does 25.

With V still firmly in profitable territory and the dollar strengthening ever further against the rand (18.4 as we speak) all we're missing now is confirmation that all is well on the operational front to make this current valuation look absolutely bonkers.

Whilst I think it's rather unlikely it's not at all inconceivable to reach £338m if they were to turn things around AND have the dispute go completely in their favour... but I do agree the ltip is pointless to discuss with the share price so, so far below the lowest threshold.

And before you repeat 'that's what other companies do' - yes that might be true for reachable targets but not 50p to £4.71/ £7.77. If you actually think they have half an eye on the LTIP (i'm not sure they do) then they'll have to get everything spot on between now and December 2024.

There is not going to be a meaningful recovery here until there is enough progress to report regularly and build momentum. Releasing an RNS with a bit of froth as you say would cause a temporary rise but if it isn't backed up by something concrete, an increase in sales etc then it will just fall back.

You seem to also agree that there is work, there is progress going on behind the scenes so you don't think they're spending their days playing jenga and sipping Mai Tais... so there's no logical reason to believe they don't care about the share price in the manner you're referring to unless you're suggesting conspiracy theories like Val (want to dissuade PIs etc).

Isn't it more likely that they recognise that the share price isn't going to recover until they get their ducks in a row and can create a turnaround narrative or just that they are quite clueless on this front?

I see no case for the very specific argument you're making (planning to just pump the share price 8 to 15 fold nearer the time). If that is the case then they are total idiots.

Following on from my post re coping with the full spectrum of vanadium prices...

Currently at 18 Rand BMN are a profitable business all the way down to ~ $34/kgV average realised prices and with the US making up almost 50% of sales and with prices there remaining above $40/kgV more or less for the past 18 months+ now we should feel rest assured that BMN will remain a profitable entity if targets are being met. What we want to see from the update is that BMN are on the road to reaching that 5000-5400mtV level within the current cost base. If BMN achieve that they will become a low cost 5000mt+ producer that will remain profitable all the way down to close to $30/kgV.

With the role vanadium is going to play in the energy transition I would be highly surprised if we ever see prices fall to $30/kgV again and more likely see the long term average settle at around the $45/kgV - $50/kgV range but being in a position to cope with the very toughest times will reduce the investment risk considerably and focus minds on the upside instead.

Certainly not arguing against Bitcoin at the present moment in time - few things all coming together at once that makes me think there could be some meaningful upwards momentum soon.

Yesterday’s First Republic Bank news was nothing surprising- the share price fell from $14 to $8, sure, but it did start the year at $120 a share just a few months ago!

I read it again and came to the same conclusion, you were implying that they don’t give a damn about the share price but will suddenly a bit nearer to the vesting date of December 2024 and I’m saying that’s nonsense - it is far too many multiples above to just show a bit of interest in nearer the time and be rewarded for that, if they are self-interested like you are implying they will either focus hard on protecting and growing the share price now or not bother at all, at any time.

Very few vote this chap up actually, his long posts are tedious and so very painfully self-involved and are making this bb totally unreadable.
