Yes the Directors are not silly! They didn't have to do this placing. With money on its way with "confirmed" 'significant' Avacta and others sales on the way very soon, they could have very easily got a temporary loan from any bank.
Doing a placing gives them a convenient chance to also get even more shares on the cheap. I do really think this is the main reason they've gone down this route.

The other very scary news coming out of South Africa's hospitals is Omicron could be more dangerous for the very young. As a father to a 5, 7 and 9 year old that is truly very, very scary news.
There is hope, as its not confirmed yet and they are saying its mild but then that doesn't make a lot of sense if they are in hospital?
If Covid starts going after the young then it's a complete game changer! Whatever anyone says those with kids will panic and change there lives dramatically if it means keeping them safe! No way would any of mine be going into a room with anyone else unless I know for sure they can't give them covid. I'm not religious but I'm going to pray this doesn't happen.

Takeing a LFT if you want to travel comes into force tomorrow.
Scotland announces you can provide a negative LFT to get into venues (this is something all goverments will eventually need to do, either this or rip up the human rights act / own constitutions and redefine what living in democracy actually means)
Hardly any 'might be ok' Omicron articles now.
Many on the need for new vacancies and testing to go on for many more years.
A company who specialises in making LFT's, can make 150 million of them a year and currently at a peanut price. Huuuuum, now where to invest some money?

Yes, but I very much doubt that will be 30 to 31p.
I don't want to guess what the range will be but I will be amazed if it not higher than the current.

The SP went up over 100% in a day on the back of our BioSURE product being Tech transferred.
The ones we have coming up Avacta and Vatic will make the company much, much more money than we get through BioSURE.
Being this time we actually know the Avacta RNS will hit 'before the end of the year' (I'm guessing that will mean before Christmas) I exspect we will have a steady increase in anticipation of that news. Nice steady 3/4/5% rises each day will be very nice, with the possibility that any other news (goverment paying up, Omicron looking more dangerous, vatic update, new contracts, products, distributors news etc) could rocket it.
I'm just going to sit back and enjoy this week.

I know there is much anger over the goverment buying Chinese made tests but, to be fair, they haven't (to date) had a great deal of options in that department.
They can't purchase something that is not complete yet and being manufactured.
This of course is about to change and the timing could not be better.
Do you not think the UK goverment will not buy Brittish made now its an actual option open to them? Genuine question. What's the thoughts?

Yes, I'm defo not ruling out a big goverment order when the time comes.
There has been massive moaning about the UK goverment purchasing Chinese made (antigen) LFT, but to be fair, they didn't really have much choice with that one. Lots of good UK tests in the pipeline but not ready to be manufactured and used. They soon will have the option to buy UK and the timing could not be better.

Yes one of I'm sure many news stories to brake over the weekend. It's looking likey there will be much good news braking out.
I suspect covid stocks could be in high demand Monday morning.

Yeah, it does astound me sometimes that probably the most typed letters on LSE are DYOR. Yet what is clear, hardly anyone actually does, or If they do its very little.
Before I make any investment I don't just look into that one company. The most important part is looking, in the same light at all the compition in the same sector as well. Then balance out all the information vs the companies current MC. This points to one that looks like its the best value and therefore has the best potential for SP growth. If people really did DYOR, then in this sector there is a very clear 'buy me now' winner and ABDX SP would be at least double what it is now....oh well, the herd will work it all out eventually.

I never knock other shares and I don't mean this to downplay ODX who are probably fair value or maybe indeed undervalued at the moment.
But, if ever there was a fine example of how ilogical AIM can be at times it a compare between ABDX and ODX.
In the last year we took over double their income. Have a higher profit margin and a much larger manufacturing capacity. We now also have much more money in the bank and are very much still game on for big covid contracts where they seem to have given up...yet! If you wanted to buy either company out right. At the moment you would have to spend £19 million more to buy ODX over ABDX. How can anyone logically explain that one?
As I said it's not to say ODX is at a bad price, its just to point out how stupidly undervalued ABDX is and the SP growth due our way.

Not sure what it is but got this funny feeling in my bones that covid LFT testing might become a product in demand soon and into next year? It’s been mentioned a few times on the news and stuff now. I guess those last waves of covid were rather bad so my speculation is that at least some of the governments around the world are going to think getting their populations to do regular LF testing might be a good idea?

When you think about it, even if this 4th wave became really bad. If people test themselves at home and are negative, then they can carry on as normal without making the situation worse which, (thinking about it even more deeply) would mean the worlds economy would not completely collapse? So, in theory at least, spending money on testing (whatever it costs) would actually save all countries a fair few quid? 

There are 195 countries in the world. I’m going to take the punt that at least a few of them will want LFT’s…here’s hoping!

So yeah, it’s a gamble but this company that can make the most of these LFT things in the whole of Europe and has plenty of capacity to fill a demand, should they be needed? just might do alright.

As the market is currently valuing them as a company that will not make ANY money in the future, I’ve got a good feeling there should be more upside potential then downside here….. just my gut feeling of course.

Here is the sentiment I spoke of returning. It starts with some drops like this, which turns into a trickle, which turns into a stream, which can then suddenly turn into a full-on BOOM! Dam Busters’ time!
Get your pilot goggles ready and keep watching. I’m not sure when, but I am as sure as I can be it’s a when and not if.

The only problem with this share at the moment is its at a " too good to be true" status. It makes people nervous because, as the saying goes....
It's all about sentiment now. At the moment the market is in denial about Omicron (for obvious reasons, take the terrible for everyone out and just look at the investment side for a bit) it's in the markets interest that all will be fine! Of course, sod any investment I hope it is but its looking increasingly likely it won't.
The way I see this playing out...
The only people selling at 25p will be nervous PI's this could possibly drop the price below 25p but I very much doubt it and if it happens it would not be for long.
As I said earlier we are now valued at below asset value which will bring buyers (who know what they are doing) whatever the situation, so a small to good increase tomorrow will come.
At some point either 1) the too good to be true people will see the SP going up and kick themselves that it wasn't and buy in. The second level to this is news will come that Omicron is seriously bad news and the general market will very quickly move their money into a share like this.
Remember all those strait lines that happened to unknown stocks charts as covid news hit. Being we are valued lower than assets, so NO earnings (now or in future) priced in....the only way is up and it could quickly go very, very up!
We would need a few things to go certain ways but a 10 to 15 bangger is on!

Oh and even forgot to add in the £8 million we are owed. That will make us £11 million below asset value.
