The company is being treated by investors with the respect it deserves. Its no start up, its been well run and mostly profit making for 13 years.
Last year would have been a good profit year had the goverment paid it's bill. They will pay that bill eventually (by law) which just means the year ahead will be a very good profit year!
Looking at some other test stocks they are praying for some sort of contract. Something like a couple of million tests a month. It's a shame (for others, not us holders) the statement below got somewhat lost in a long RNS that was mostly about the placing.

"Avacta have indicated that they may require the Company to produce between one and two million tests per month. The transfer process, which involves scale-up of processes and manufacture of three production-scale manufacturing runs, is progressing well and due for completion in this calendar year. A significant order for post-technical transfer production has been received from Avacta."

It's comical that we have by far the smallest MC of covid stocks and!!! have the contacts ready that they are all praying for. We start making big money next month where they may need to wait many more months before getting money through the door....this share (IMO) not only has the least risk attached it also has the most SP growth lined up ready to go!

If this keeps up it will become a bigger and bigger news story. Our goverment especially, but all goverments must be getting worried about this now.... not enough tests means they have to go into full lockdown, I can't see another way.
You can't have a system that's 'the lucky ones' that can get them can carry on but if you can't you need to stay in. It's got to be the same for everyone and it's looking increasingly likely they will struggle to service everyone with the tests we need.....Abingdon to the rescue!

Yep indeed! It's a shame our goverment clearly are not!
I think it should be a entry requirement to get into the goverment in future. One must have prior exsperiance of Boy or Girl Scouts "always be prepared" mentality...... this way, we can hopefully avoid embarrassing situations...I dunno, something like running out of test during the start of the worst phase of a pandemic?!

Just been to my local supermarket that has a pharmacy counter. Thought its worth a ask and sure enough..."completely out of all LFT" and they don't think they will have more until at least Wednesday.
Be interested to hear if any of you have stocks in your local areas?
If that site is down again tomorrow and local supplies dry up it's big time pressure on Boris and mates.

The goverment website running out of LFT's is bound to make the main news channels this evening..... I wonder if we might get a mention? Is someone going to brake the news that the Goverment owe us £8 million. If I was a reporter I would be all over a story like that on a day like today.....just maybe.

I shouldn't tempt fate but its interesting we have little to no "derampers" on here. I'm sure they will turn up once the SP starts shooting up, but I think the main reason is there isn't really any holes they can pick on.
There is plenty to pick on when a company goes up on potential of something and their MC becomes massive in comparison to their takings. However no one can argue with good old fashioned making something and selling it for a profit. Real money moving through our books that should eclipse last year's turnover at least 10x over.
The big players want real profit not potential and its why when we do go up I think we will sustain it and keep building upon it from there.

Indeed Rick. Its each to their own and I'm sure any sellers have their reasons...but.
The day I sold shares in the countries largest LFT manufacture, on the same day that the Goverment started running out of them??? Might be one that haunts them for a bit!

We started producing test batches of the Avacta test a couple of months ago. The final part of a TT is just ramping up the production in stages and quality checking that the machines can produce e.g. 100,000 a day with exactly the same spec in exactly the same way as they can doing 1000 a day.
We are already making the test which can be sold. Within the next two weeks (I think sooner) we will be up to full speed. This currently set at 2 million tests a month.
Once at full speed we have the TT blueprint, which is very valuable. It means we can easily and quickly apply it to spare machinery.
I'm expecting that Avacta will get increased orders and we will quickly move all our spare capacity to producing their test (this could be up to 12 million a month.

Even the Chinese can't suddey pull a spare billion or two LFT's out of nowhere. Especially when the US, EU and all other 1st world nations also want them. I exspect with the size of their population they will want a fair few for themselves as well.
As I have said before, I'm sure the UK goverment 'wants' to by Chinese, they just haven't had the choice....until now! In these circumstances the UK will happily take all we can make I'm 100% sure!

Yeah just tried myself and got the same message. So all those that usually order online will now be rushing to their local pharmacy's, those stocks will soon go very quickly as well.
Big pressure on the goverment now. Already very unpopular and now we will start getting news stories on how people can't follow the goverment advise and policy because we can't get hold of the test they say we should use. Very embarrassing for them at the worse possible time.
They will be hitting the panic button. Must be desperate for more tests. It wasn't a sensible move to screw your own home suppliers up was it.....heads on chopping blocks.

What is clearly been kept under the rug at the moment, is how Omicron is more dangerous for the young. Once this is more widely published it will mean a completely different situation, a whole new ballgame.
Testamania! Paranoia will kick off in no time. No way is anyone with kids or grandkids going to take any chances. Speaking as a father of 3 (all under 10 years old) they will not be coming into contact with anyone unless I know they have tested negative.

Boris talking at 8pm tonight. I'm sure he will do the usual plea to get your vaccines/ booster, but I also fully exspect, he will start talking a lot more about the importance of testing yourself regularly.
It's very clear now that vaccines are good but no way near good enough to save lives on their own.
Penny will start to drop and I'm expecting some big players will start moving in here tomorrow.

Big week coming. There must be all sorts of deals happening behind the scenes at the moment and nobody has any time to spare.
There simply can't be enough LFT to meet global demand and we have spare capacity to make them!
I will be amazed if we don't get a significant RNS at some point during the week. It's going to be an exciting one with many eyes keeping a very close watch on ABDX. When it goes, it will fly!

Sorry, going to add one last note to my last post as I have a feeling many maybe don't know or fully appreciate this bit.
Last year we turned over 11 .something million.
This amounts to somewhere between 3 to 4 million test, made and sold.
We can now roughly make that many tests in a single week! So a years turnover in a week, every week....what sort of rerate to our SP will that bring?

The Markets often move in mysterious ways but what has happened in the last few sessions is completely bizarre!
Nothing but more bad and serious news over what Omicron will bring. The UK and world numbers will have reached new record highs before the weekend is over. This will follow sadly with new record numbers going into hospital. Yet, the market is basically saying (today) yeah, but we don't think more covid test will be needed?
Surely sooner or later the most simple market sum you could ever hope for will be made by the masses. More cases means more testing needed.
ABDX have done hard, slow, boring expansion and TT's part already. Ready and chomping at the bit to start pumping over 3 million tests out the door every week. The penny will drop eventually I'm 100% sure. Keep the faith and have a good weekend all.
