World shortage of LFT's + Europe's largest LFT manufacture = very positive position.
It could really not be more obvious! Good to see the market seems to be finally cotton on.

At full capacity this company is easily worth a Mcap of 200 million. Shares are still so ridiculously cheap....but not for much longer! :)

Like most, im sure, it's been a very busy few days.
So busy, I don't have the time to write everything I want to write so will simply say, all ducks are perfectly aligned.

Errrm sorry but suprise, suprise the virus has now mutated so now it's extremely important that you make sure you have a 3rd vaccine (jeeez, ok, but what was the fanfare with the first one about then).
Shooot, actually that "booster" shot that was definitely going to keep you safe will actually only keep you safe for 10 weeks so by getting a large chuck of the entire NHS to give jabs, by the time (at full brakeneck speed) we have done only half the nation, the first ones we did now need a 4th shot....huum keep doing the other half or start working on the first half again....what to do??? Ha-ho , it's not like flu so once we have 4 jabs that will be it...sorted!

What a great start to the festivities that will be!

Older and wiser, the big and very significant diferances is when the world had Spanish flu the world population was 1.6 billion. Also air travel (for normal people) didn't exist, nor international travel generally (for the masses like today anyway). This all meant a quicker move to herd immunity and less chances for the virus to move about.
Now 8 billion people all constantly moving about. Its a perfect inviroment for a coronavirus to keep mutating and it will. Yes eventually we will build up enough global immunity but I think we are still years away from that.

I will add. I think Antibody testing will start to become the more and more obvious thing to do.
We are not safe until we are all (nearly 8 billion and going up fast people) safe. The vaccine providers are starting to take the p1ss with their costs, then you have the logistics costs plus the costs of paying people to adminiser them. If these are your doctors and nurses it means while they are jabbing a never ending queue of people they are not looking others in need....its all completly unsustainable.
Going forward it makes much more sense to target vaccines to only those that need them and that's means Antinbody testing.
We have all corners covered, Antigen tests during spikes and Antibody tests to target Vaccine roll outs.

First there was Sars-cov- 1 (could have been just as bad but was contained) then Sars-cov-2 which we called Alpha, which then turned into a Beta verient, which then became Gamma, then Delta and now Omicron. That's 5 versions in 2 years.
Omicron can reinfect and evade vaccines.
Personally I think the idea that we can soon just wave goodbye to covid is very, very wishful thinking.
The problem is there are nearly 8 billion people on the planet. The more people the higher the chance of a new pandemic starting and with Covid, the more it infects the more chances it has to mutate into another vaccine evading version of itself. I was reading an article where a scientist was saying having large Delta and Omicron cases at the same time could lead to a super mutation.
We might have got lucky this time if Omicron is mild but that does not mean the next mutation (and we will get one) will be mild as well.
I can't see a world where we no longer need to keep tracking Covid for a very long time and that means the need for quick, easy and affordable testing will be needed also.

Yes agree with DP. It's a fair question and a worthy debate.
Looking over on Avacta's chat there is talk of 50million, 20 million and 2 million. For reasons stated earlier its very, very difficult to start a LFT manufacturering mega company from scratch.
If you have shed loads of money you will most likely out source such tasks (to a company like ABDX) so you can make the statement "we have the capability to make X amount" I doubt very much Medusa themselves can do so. They might have another contractor on their books? However if they do it's to do their antibody test which is not the test we are talking about so t doesn't really matter.
Could they get them (if they exist and are not us anyway) to do the Avacta test...yes!, but it's taken us world leaders in the field several months to do the TT and that data belongs to us. Its extremely valuable and not up for sale! even if Avacta ask for it. You might know how to make a few dozen tests, but only we know how to take that knowledge to make a few million...a week!
It would take them a very long time to catch us up. It would be so much simpler to ask us to fire up another machine and the turnover than get a newbie to start from scratch.

No one can buy a LFT machine or two and push the 'Go' button.
You need a large team of highly specialised skill sets to produce LFT's in mass. Its what attracted me to this company in the first place. You can throw money at machinery but you can't pull the people to make them work from nowhere.
They (Abingdon) have been doing this stuff successfully for 13 years. They have all the in-house skills necessary to move quickly through the times.
In the Dawn of the LFT's generation this is a great starting point, well ahead of the majority.

Great day! Many shares moving from hands that don't realise what they are holding to hands that (hopefully) do....on the back of what is not officially our very own big news!
Everything perfectly set for a good and long sustained rise to £1+....that being just the start.

I'm very confident we will see a buying surge before close so am sticking to a mid 30's finish.
AVCT and GDR have had their RNS but ours is still due and when it comes this will fly.
Its not a share you want to be out of overnight so the FOMO crew will arrive shortly I'm sure.

Only 27 million shares are in free float and 6 million of those have changed hands today.
You could not write the script any better before a big RNS is due.

What I wrote on the 17th Dec about Avacta TT completion RNS....hope I was right.

If I had to put a bet on it I would go for the 23rd Dec as the ideal time.
Let the sellers who are happy to sell for their 10% profit shift their shares first (if they do?) and then release the news for the more steady increase into more sticky hands. Sit back and enjoy your Christmas....its what I would do if I could, so just a guess.
