Bubbling in the background is our very own Antibody test and growing calls to use them to target vaccinations to only those that need it.

Time for cool heads. They are currently 4 days late and 3 of them have been the weekend / public holiday. If they get to a few weeks late (very confident they won't) then we have good grounds for a good moan!
Projects that have many moving parts, rely on many different people and types of technology are very difficult to pin point completion times....they will do it and soon.
Unfortunately the MM's will use it (delay) to install some panic if they can. Might get another knock tomorrow if no news or we might go up 100%+ if we do get it. Sell now if it stresses you or focus on where you think the SP will be next month, breath and be patient.

The Yanks have worked out that you do not wave goodbye to a coronavirus that is massively more contagious than Flu, has nearly brought the world economy to a standstill and can / will mutate again at anytime. This is a long term problem that will go on for years and testing alongside targeted vacancies roll out is the only way forward....let's hope our goverment also get the message that investing in getting your test supply in country is a very sensible idea.

Surely a more sensible thing to do than tie up the worlds medical professionals (and their budgets) on vaccinating people on a painting the Forth bridge format....would you not agree?

National Antibody testing is coming! It's complete common sense. As this article points out a constant global vaccination program is completly unsustainable! Targeted vaccination is the only way and the only way to do that is mass Antibody testing.

One of those frustrating days where volume is low, no significant selling yet the MM's find justification to drop the SP 6%!?
You know we would never get a 6% rise if a tiny 40k more got brought than sold.
They will use all their tricks to encourage some selling knowing the news flow due this month, will bring in the buying.

As I said before there is a good chance (somewhat ironically I guess) that they have had key people off with Covid. They are trying to make millions of mini science labs a week, its very complex high end science which takes a bit of time to get right. Give them a few days grace before getting uptight. If we still don't have news by the end of next week we maybe have a start of something to moan about.
All is good in the hood and things moving perfectly in our favour. Next week will be a great one!

It's not very often in life you get the chance to triple, quadruple or maybe much more your money with the downside being you (temporarily might) lose 20 to 30%.....if ever there was a 'gamble' this has got to be a no brainer!
No way would I try a high risk low reward strategy and try and trade this one, at this moment, but good luck to those that try.

Just reading around some of the other covid stocks BB's as well and I dont get this obsession that companies can only do well if they sell to the Brittish government?
The world is a big place and all other nations have the same problems we do. There are 195 countries in the world and nearly all of them will also be looking to up their testing supplies right now....hence the "global" shortage.....sod the DHSC, none of these firms need them and we, particularly should be putting them at the back of the queue (and there will be a queue right now) defo no special treatment! I would much prefer to see us do our business elsewhere...e.g. with an organisation that appreciates you need to pay for what you take!

Yes DG, but that's the big problem with GDR. It gets pumped to high heaven and then drops back down to earth soon after.
I much prefer ABDX steady and sustained way personally. Not to mention when we do go up we can stay there because we will have real millions coming through the door vs the hope that we might do in future.

Let's keep expectations in cheque. Otherwise people just start reading what is a great RNS as a bad one because it doesn't mention £100's of millions contracts.
We should get an RNS tomorrow. ABDX like most companies might of had a problem with people off with Covid so maybe a bit of a delay? But if so, we should hear news by the end of the first week of the year. Whatever, it will happen soon which is the main thing.
The news will confirm Avacta's TT is complete. I exspect it will also say they have received more orders for the Avacta tests so we will up the manufacturing to meet the demand.
The Market is still valuing this company as a small one having a bad patch. This news, on its own will show that bad patch is over and how we can quickly turn into a large very profit making company. Its enough for a large rerate and then soon after we should get Vatic TT news that will bring another one.
A goverment contract would be great but we don't need one. We can do very well (in fact better) without them.

It could really not be more obvious! Good to see the market seems to be finally cotton on.

At full capacity this company is easily worth a Mcap of 200 million. Shares are still so ridiculously cheap....but not for much longer! :)
