So £5.5 million of new money, we already had 1. something so call it 6.5 cash.
I believe we had 12 million in assets pre IPO and have just bought / invested 9 million in new machinery. Add those up and we are worth around 27.5 million in assets. You could buy the whole company now and make 3 million from selling off the assets.
This is a very large LFT maker capable of producing 150 million test a year with a 41% profit margin. A massive global 4th pandemic wave coming???? Not even being valued at asset value???? Will be manufacturing millions of test a month.....Next month!

I would presume this would not be the week between Christmas and New Year, which would mean this news being confirmed within 3 weeks.
When we confirm we are making over £2 million a month in profits do you think our MC will be worth more or less than 27 million? That's not even one years profits, on us only using 17% of our manufacturing capacity.

You have to ask the question why raise money if we are about to start knocking 3/4 million test out of the door each month, starting next month.
the Directors are buying in and this gives you the answer. It gives them (as well as us) the chance to buy more shares at a discount.
In the next two months we will release news of two very significant TT's being complete, orders for millions of tests and a large payment received from the DHSC. Where do you think the SP will be at the end of Jan? The Directors are not silly, this is just providing them and us the chance to buy £1+ shares for 25p.
From a personal finance prospective its a good opportunist move by them.

Its not a bad placing. Lots of positive news in there as well and the money is being invested in new test not just being spent to stay afloat. I will definitely be getting my full quota.
As this new money is paying for what the DHSC money should have paid for there is a decent chance they could pay the (now £8 million) DHSC payment out in a dividend. I think that would be around 7p per share.

This is why I think antibody testing will have its day moniman.
If I'm sent a test and told if you score e.g 5 or less you vaccine protection may not work. Then booking myself in for a booster shot suddenly becomes top of my priority list.
Asking me to take my 3rd/4th/5th booster gets less and less appealing the more you ask. If I'm fairly confident I'm likely fine without it then it's not very high up on my to do list. The whole press conference was basically one big plea to get a booster. They know as each extra jab is asked for national enthusiasm for them becomes less.
Let people check their antibodies and you can then priorities truly, those that need it most first.

This is ridiculous, I can't get a buy quote on anything now and I have never seen it stay that way for so long without the buy price moving...what's going on. Can anyone else buy at the moment? If so, what are the quotes?

One braking news story that Omicron is more dangerous than Delta and the markets will crash with Covid test stocks going massively in the other direction....just think of all those scientists and journalists frantically working away as we speak, looking to make a name for themselves as the ones that discovered it / broke the story first. That with the real posability of ABDX putting an RNS out at any moment about receiving our DHSC payment which will rocket the SP.
It could all happen at literally any moment.....I hope this puts your mind a little more at ease :)

I see Nicola Sturgeon was incorrageing everyone to take LFT's today which got me wondering.
If this new strain is a mutated as much as they say, I would be very suprised if most (if not all) current LFT on the market pick it up? Which gives me the bigger wonder, would they tell us that? They will know if they do it will give a certain type of person the excuse not to bother testing / a bit of just give up and panic could set in.
It must be getting talked about and checked behind closed door. If there is not a "don't worry current LFT's pick it up" statement soon, then the silence will speak for itself.

Yes, our TT for it is not due completion for another 6/7/8 weeks but we would be given a blank cheque to sort that out. 24/7 shifts and it could / Would! be on the market in no time.
Lots of ifs, buts and maybes there but watch this space closely.
We have an exclusive agreement to manufacture that test and if its 'the one' it would make ABDX a massive global player overnight!

You can garntee there will be a massive scrabble going on right now to get hold of real world samples of this new verient to test / develop test on.
Prioritising who gets these will be key. They (goverment organisations) can give them to those that "think" their test can pick it up, or if not can develop a new test in weeks / months to do so. OR to a test provider who's current test is already most likely to pick it up. If this can be confirmed it's the quickest way to have a good test ready for people to use in the shortest period of time....I therefore like to presume the Knownow test will be first in line to get samples and dare I say, in the priority(VIP) lane.

I missed the start of Bojo's conference but noted in the part I did watch there was no talk of latural flow testing? If you want to stop the spread surly that's something we should all be reminded to do regularly.
My guess, they already know that the current LFT's on the market will not pick this new verient up. Big if, bit if the Knownow test is the only one that can pick it up now (no tweaking, testing and new regulating required) then we will get every resource we could possibly thrown at us and that will be on the market in no time.

I don't want to come across as a new (vaccine immune) verient is a good thing. I'm very much a human being first, meaning I, like everyone, find that very scary.
As it's being talked about in Parliament and the EU is talking about shutting up shop, it tells me it's already too late. How long did it take to discover it, maybe weeks, at least days and It's already in several different countries. All this says, too little too late.
If this is even more contagious the Delta, which is 3x more contagious than Alfa, which is 3x more contagious than Flu then, its already beyond containment. I hope I am wrong of course!
If this is right it means reset on vaccines, which means back to testing, which means ABDX!
