Irrespective of what's covered in the NDA or not, silence is golden here. I'm secure in my investment and when the time is appropriate, IMM will communicate news.

What I don't want to see is a pointless RNS (which incurs a cost to IMM) and provides the critics with information to beat up Tim/Lisa/IMM with. And before the naysayers mention the conference attendance and website RNS's, these may well have been very clever strategic markers by IMM to let the industry know they were open to approaches.

Personal opinion - I don't think Tim has always got it 100% right but he's definitely kept IMM in the game. And I'm also not blaming him for missing the 2025 deal deadline. Negotiations can be complicated.

MysticMike - Don't understand why her not responding to that question is a worry. Lisa cannot provide market sensitive data outside of an RNS. And even if she was allowed to announce via an email response that IMM are negotiating with big pharma, she might not be able to if an NDA is in place. And IMHO, an NDA is very likely to be in place at this time.

Tiger - No point asking the question of Lisa as she won't be able to answer any market sensitive questions. All she'll say is what she's said before which is something along the lines of 'IMM are working hard currently at getting the best possible deal for shareholders.....'

Halfbutt - At the moment the power is with the manipulators, but that won't always be the case. When a deal is announced the pendulum will swing firmly in favour of the long term believers in P140.

At the frustrating times, I just remind myself about the science and the scientists.

Got to hand it to the derampers for their expertise in twisting both good and bad price movements and news..... Almost like it's a playbook....

And don't forget about the patent cliff which is a major problem for big pharma. They are looking for long term solutions 10-20 years+ out....

Any noise/disruption from Trump is relatively short lived due to his term in office. A bigger issue might be his replacement but that's an unknown at this moment so big pharma will be more concerned at this moment about a drop off in revenues due to patents expiring....

Perhaps big pharma hold all of the cards if only one is negotiating with IMM. However, if two or more are negotiating then we could see FOMO. £100m, £500m or £5bn is a drop in the ocean for a top 10 pharma firm....

Marty - You can't value development pharmaceutical companies in the same way as companies that are making sales. The value is in the potential rather than the actuals at this stage.

While it's great seeing the share price move up strongly, I'm disappointed as I'm waiting for a couple of my smaller pension pots to transfer into my SIPP. And then I was going in on IMM again.

65p is not to be sniffed at if that has been offered. But if the science is as good as the scientists (deliberately ignoring Tim McC hyperbole there.....) think it is, then it's seriously undercooking the value of IMM.

And if a 65p offer has been tabled, then a takeover is most definitely a strong possibility now (and my preferred option). Not sure I could put up with some of the forum shenanigans for another x number of years until we realise more value from IMM because the deal signed is a licensing one.

If there are strong 65p deal rumours floating about the industry then it might flush out a better offer from a competing pharma as I can't believe P140 isn't of interest to multiple players.

Exciting times.....

Nettles - Not likely that anyone on this forum will know any more about this tbh. True or not, it's an entertaining thing to be discussing while we wait for an RNS.

It's entirely plausible (despite what some may say otherwise) that IMM have received an offer or offers but are in a bidding war.

Would IMM need to announce something by RNS if it was an offer? Or would they only RNS when they had a deal they deemed acceptable enough to recommend to shareholders?

Yes and we have to trust in the science. The market doesn't always get it right.

Patience is most definitely a virtue with this share (and board).....

I don't have an issue with OSD's right to sell his shares but do have an issue with the large dollop of doom laden narrative served up for good measure. Feels like another playbook being used here to cause fear amongst share holders, you know the one that generates lots of trust and goodwill initially and then pulls the rug from under you at the last minute.....

Ultimately, the deal value is not dependent on the share price during discussions/negotiations or on deal signing. It's all about the quality and potential of the P140 platform to a buyer.

While I have a massive issue with OTM (as do many of us), at least he's more consistent in his view of a 20-30p target share price and a deal in the summer.

Someone (can't remember who wrote it) said about not trusting an online profile. Completely right but every time someone turns it still does shake your faith in others sadly.
