Hubstar - Don't disagree with what you're saying. NDA's/CDA's have been discussed previously and would quite clearly limit what IMM could declare officially by RNS along with any non RNS channels like interviews and replies to shareholder phone calls and emails.

Hubstar - Part of me thinks that IMM should be doing what it needs to do to generate a bidding war in order to get the best price possible for shareholders and share option holders. But on the other hand, IMM might be able to create a bidding war just by going about things discreetly.

OTM, I strongly suspect is multiple people sharing a profile. The tone of the posts has changed over time and the price targets stated are all over the place as well….

Best thing I’ve done on this forum was filtering the profile along with Revd and Spantrout. I’ve not filtered Roger yet as I’m still hoping to see new content from him that doesn’t involve the words ‘Timmy’ and ‘Liar’ in the same sentence….

And interesting how the derampers came out in force as soon as Eric posted that excellent article. So predictable you can set your watch by it….

I did wonder whether the delay in progressing a phase 3 trial is because CNRS and IMM were able to extend the P140 scope of use quicker than Avion's ability to fund a larger scoped trial. Any withdrawal from the original Lupozor deal by Avion before another deal for P140 is in place would result in a severely deflated share price for IMM.

And then the naysayers would feast on that news for months.....

But if it comes to pass that Avion withdraw gracefully on news of a new deal with a major player then IMM management will have played an absolute blinder!

With the proposed increase in director fees to £200k, it does make me think that IMM are confident about getting a deal for P140 with less need to minimise cash burn going forward.

Meanwhile I'm waiting for the usual profiles to jump on the 'IMM are a director lifestyle company' bandwagon....

If P140’s science stacks up, big pharma will want it irrespective of Tim’s trustworthiness or not.

I’m sure Tim will be able to justify his actions regarding IMM specifically because he’ll be in a freer position to do so if an interested partner does want to know why he’s done what he’s done. In fact the whole ‘Timmy is untrustworthy so we won’t get a deal’ is a pretty weak deramper argument because it assumes that big pharma are prepared to hold the moral high ground. They are only interested in deals that guarantee (or at the very least improve the opportunity for) their profitability over the long term. Big pharma have ZERO responsibility for IMM shareholders well-being or financial gain so really won’t care in the slightest regarding how many dilutions we’ve endured or Tim’s overconfidence on timelines and reliance on Lanstead financing.

Nolupus - Not sure what your point is about the CNRS and the patent application. The key thing is that P140 gets patented and a deal is done. I would expect that the CNRS will assist however they can to help get it to market. And when they do they’ll do well from it like shareholders will….. What value size we can put on ‘well’ is still to be determined should a deal happen.

And a partnership deal (with conditional milestones) can be signed without P140 going through a phase 3 trial first so not clear on the point you are trying to make again.

Ho hum. I've just replied to a now missing post.... The point is still valid. If the science is good, a deal will happen irrespective of whether big pharma like or dislike IMM management.

Roger - For what feels like the thousandth time in saying it...... Big pharma will hold their nose when dealing with Tim and will get a deal done because for them, it's ultimately all about the money. And if the P140 science works as Dr. Goudreau and Prof. Muller say it does then it is going to make a lot of money for big pharma, IMM, the CNRS and shareholders.

In summary - money talks!!!!

Mystic - If you are correct on that figure to pay off Avion, it’s a drop in the ocean compared to the potential revenue that the P140 platform could generate over 15 years.

If it truly is as low a price as that to remove Avion, then Art Deas by rights should be holding out for a much higher figure otherwise his business partners, BOD, investors, etc might not see his reticence as having been in the best interests of Avion.

Ultimately though this is all speculation and only a few people at Avion, CNRS and IMM know why, for example, the phase 3 trial hasn’t happened so far or at what stage the P140 discussions are at…..

It’s not beyond the realms of possibility that they have more insight into the discussions considering they own 18% of the company and have a significant number of 2p warrants in their back pocket….. That insight might be telling them that now is not the time to be selling…..
