As has been repeated ad nauseum by many of us for a long, long time now, we’re invested here because we believe in the science. Big pharma are NOT investing in Tim, they’ll be doing a deal for P140 and (eventually) Kapiglucagon…..

I can’t see Tim hanging around for much longer. At some point we’ll probably see Tim Franklin or Ketan Patel stepping up as CEO.

Roger. - you’re assuming that a deal for Kapiglucagon is at least 2 years away. It could be a lot sooner than that.

Perhaps, rather than being incredibly negative all of the time on IMM, you might have been better suited advising ‘Timmy Liar’ on more favourable funding options to get Kapiglucagon moving along. As the negative crew seem to be rubbishing P140’s prospects of a good deal then it’s sensible for IMM to be progressing a plan B. Or is Timmy wrong to be doing that?

A bit of short term pain to the share price should reap dividends in at least 18 months time. And for the record, I’d prefer Lanstead weren’t involved but it is what it is. I and others will just have to wait a bit longer for a very good profit.

Wigwammer - Precisely. That was my point to Nolupus. I’d be surprised if the publication process didn’t start at around the same time as the patent application. Makes sense to do it that way.

Any suggestion that Dr Goudreau and team don’t know what they’re doing or lack understanding of the publication process is downright insulting.

I’ll repeat three things I’ve said before, something that you do on a daily basis:

(1) Do I think Tim has got everything right? No, definitely not but he’s managed to keep the lights on so that IMM are in a position to be talking to multiple partners.

(2) High risk, high reward. I’m fully aware of the volatility of small pharma.

(3) I believe firmly in the science.

I don’t need you patronising me. Go do something useful with your pathetically sad life like becoming interesting…..

Can you point out where either he or Dr Goudreau suggested it would take a few days to publish or are you being sarcastic? I can’t comment on the 6 months timeframe but I’m sure a professional scientist would be well aware of how long is required.

Maybe you can let us all know when Dr Goudreau started the process?

Nolupus - Agreed, but I think there’s going to be a very sound strategic decision for why it’s not commenced rather than the science not working. I’m thinking that the work on diagnostics has slowed things down.

But regardless of the reasons, it’s not stopped multiple interested parties from signing CDA’s with IMM…..

Mystic Mike - I would absolutely love to see Avion walk away from this deal. While it’s been frustrating to see what looks like a lack of progress, the scientists have been working away improving the P140 proposition and improving the chances of a successful phase 3 trial.

Avion might have played a complete blinder here by gaining more value for a negligible sum of money. And news of a licensing deal would result in a healthy profit on their IMM investment.

I’m sure that Avion has complicated discussions/negotiations.

But I can’t imagine Avion progressing many of those 50 applications in the US purely due to funding constraints and deviating away from its core business strategy of addressing female related healthcare.

I guess in that case, the P140 value proposition becomes even more attractive to interested parties with some or all of the US market available. That potential value is reliant on Avion being honest in what they can and cannot do with P140.

Thanks oscar22. It wasn’t just the language (as in words) that made me take notice, important as they were. It was also Dr Goudreau’s body language when asked the question regarding push back. His immediate reaction was of indignation.

The other thing I liked was his lack of corporate polish compared to Dr Franklin and Tim McCarthy. He wasn’t the slickest or most confident presenter/interviewee there but that IMHO he oozed authenticity with his confidence residing firmly in the science.

Wigwammer - another point to add is that small/medium sized pharma are more likely focused on a licensing deal which seems to be Tim’s preference. Big pharma while not opposed to a licensing deal might also be sorely tempted by a takeover (especially with the current low market cap, Kapiglucagon In a FDA fast track pathway and small headcount).

It’s also possible that Ketan has come in and advised a more low key commentary so as not to scare off the mid-tier pharma’s from entering discussions. They may think there’s not much point in entering discussions if they can be easily outbid by a top 10 pharma.

And for balance it’s also possible that top 10 pharma have indeed dropped out. But the one thing we do know for sure at the moment is that neither the believers or derampers know who those interested parties are….

Spantrout - I might give your views on Tim and IMM more credence if you had experience of running a small pharma business. You don’t so I don’t!

Ultimately, we’ll see in 2026 and 2028 who was right for having confidence in the science or denigrating the management….

BeepBoop - You’ve again succinctly phrased a point I made last night. Last week has I’m sure not been fun for Tim or Lisa. No specific sympathy for Tim (he’s paid enough), but more for Lisa because she is being diluted like the rest of us. However, to make life easier for Tim and the BoD going forward, it makes total sense to have newsflow on a more frequent basis than in the past….

I worked in retail many, many years ago and we were taught to always keep the customer informed of what was going on when issues occurred like delays in stock arriving, etc. The customer could still be angry but generally nowhere near as angry if they also suspect some deception is happening….

Pepsi - it very much depends on whether Tim is telling an untruth when he makes a statement in an interview or on an RNS.

Not defending him here because I’m as frustrated as everyone else is at having to tolerate another Lanstead agreement but he could be saying things in good faith at the time and then circumstances change. And being Devils advocate here, I do think in hindsight he was wrong to be so enthusiastic in interviews about a deal happening in 2025.
