On reflection, this is a big risk on Tim's part so if a deal happens he gets to ride off into the sunset. If nothing is announced prior to an AGM, he's toast!

The only way the BoD will come out and answer questions is via one of Tim’s interviews with the likes of proactive, etc. An interview that even the believer crew will take with a massive pinch of salt. He’s unable to offer any detail on discussions/negotiations that might placate the crowds just as Lisa can’t when responding to shareholders outside of an RNS.

Tim was in the last chance saloon and he’s blown it big time….

Rookie1 - no one can accuse you of not being brave. I hope it pays off for you and that all of us P140 believers see a good/great return!.

I strongly believe a deal will happen. But while Tim is around, I’m just not prepared to put any more money in for the time being. He’ll be gone before the AGM as I can’t see him putting himself through an AGM vote that he most likely will lose and definitely deserves to lose. I just hope his replacement starts with and maintains credibility.

I’m not flapping either but Tim’s next RNS really did need to be a positive one. Instead, he’s provided yet more ammunition for the cynical that walk amongst us on this forum and also managed to convert some faithfuls into disbelievers. That’s some going….and it’ll be a very interesting GM or EGM coming soon….

While the T1D development is good news, I’d far rather they concentrated on getting a deal for P140 over the line first…. Much as I wanted a takeover to end the shareholder torture, I’d happily take a partnership deal at this stage.

If IMM and it’s legal and scientific teams are talking to several parties then that would extend timelines. Would also be good to see some FOMO going on.

Could also be a negotiating ploy with IMM saying to potential partners (1) we’ve got cash so don’t bother trying to run down the clock (2) we’ve got other assets other than P140.

I’m disappointed about the placing but if it helps progress Kapiglucagon then there’s a positive in it.

Will be a very interesting AGM when it happens….

Interestingly, (according to chatgpt), if a licensing deal were to happen, big pharma quite often like to buy shares in their new business partner just to be more cosy - I added that last little bit about cosiness. I'm not suggesting for one minute that the cause of the volume increase is due to that, but it's possible that at some point in the future that might explain some buying pressure.

Roger, I’m such an idiot that I must have completely forgotten why as a ‘shareholder’ you denigrate the company and it’s employees as much as you do. Could you explain in really simple terms why you do that? Hopefully the answer will sink into my really thick skull…..

For the record, I do like to throw in a bit of irony or sarcasm from time to time into my responses like the one above. I even threw some sarcasm into a post from a few days ago where I suggested a certain profile should demand an answer from Lisa. No flip flopping from me.

Just putting this out there but what if big pharma don’t just want ROW rights but also the US rights that currently reside with Avion? Could that factor be delaying a deal being concluded? Could big pharma be negotiating with Avion to buy them out of the existing deal?

We’ll find out what’s happening soon.

Agreed in principle BeepBoop for those investors that are not part of this forum. However, for those of us on this forum, there's little point in continuing to message her because we've seen much the same response shared by a number of posters. And at this stage legal and market restrictions are very much in play in regards to what she can and can't say.

It's most definitely a positive at the moment that she can't say much.

Funny how an account that allegedly owns lots of shares and has supposedly bought at price levels higher than the recent lows enjoys talking down the company.....I deliberately used the word 'account' as the profile is quite clearly multiple people....trolls, all of them!

It's important to keep calling out certain profiles for the benefit of newbies to the forum.

I also hope Lisa doesn't visit this forum and just continues doing the important stuff by supporting the exec team during deal negotiations for P140.

Roger - And big pharma will have that conversation with Avion regarding US rights.... It won't be something that IMM need to be directly involved in in the event of a takeover as existing contracts will pass over to big pharma.

And to your point about the US being the largest market, it's significant but not the largest..... The autoimmune US market is approx. 45% of global share currently and this will decline over time as ROW (especially Asia) increase their healthcare provision.

Oh and for the record, I'd prefer Avion not to be in the picture full stop but it was a necessary thing to do in order for IMM to still be in the game.

Roger - No I haven't conveniently forgotten about Avion. If a big pharma buys IMM, big pharma then gets to deal with Avion (just as IMM currently do) UNLESS there is a clause in the original contract that prevents a working relationship between Avion and big pharma.

While working in the opposite way, IMM under the terms of the original contract with Cephalon, recalled the rights for Lupozor due to the Teva merger as Teva had a lupus product in their portfolio. Before anyone screams 'It's not the same thing' - agreed, however it demonstrates that licensing agreements often have clauses to handle corporate activities such as takeovers, etc.

I personally think (and it'll be disagreed vehemently by the flip flop crew) that Lisa and Tim are fundamentally good people and not deliberately setting out to mislead people. Has Tim got everything right? No and I'm sure he'd admit to that as well in the right place and time. Is he right along with Dr Goudreau to be so enthusiastic about P140 and it's prospects? We'll find out when the deal(s) drop.....

Putting the complexity of a deal for a platform that can treat 50 autoimmune diseases to one side for a moment, IMM would be an incredibly easy operation to absorb into a large pharma. That would be a positive as there's a handful of employees and a small pipeline and might make a takeover more attractive.
