You have no knowledge or proof that Miton sold any shares today. On today's news they could easily choose to wait for much higher prices, or keep the stock long term, you do not know what Miton are doing or planning, only an RNS after the fact will reveal that.

More proof that the MM's didn't hold much QFI stock is that at 8:05am I could not even get a quote for 500k shares, had to buy 250k after trying at least a dozen times to get an online quote, 3 of which expired within a couple of seconds. Then I had to do the same again to get another 250k. Then I couldn't get my third 250k for another 5 minutes. And the stock went into auction multiple times in the first couple of hours today, If the MM's had what you claim, none of this would have occurred.

As at 15 July, Miton (not Milton!) owned 69,918,248 shares.

Nobody knows what their strike price is, or even if they plan to sell the rest of their holding, especially after today's news on which they might decide to wait for 6-9 months before selling any more.

If you think the MM's would hold £3m in QFI stock you really have no idea about MM's. There's no way they would hold that much stock in QFI, what has been a very illiquid stock for a long time. That MM's would only hold a tiny amount of that, and the rise today on just 30m traded is proof of that if any more were needed.

£100m is a fair price, but all markets are down so maybe it won't get that far during PoC / LONO, but nobody knows, nobody has a working crystal ball, and markets could recover a lot in that timeframe, especially if the Ukraine war ended or oil prices dropped, or country economic indicators went bullish, etc etc.

We are doing a PoC on MSAR. We've already done a PoC on MSAR on that vessel, we know the outcome was a resounding success, so doing another PoC on MSAR on the same vessel is just a box ticking exercise.

MSC know all about the Maersk trial, if they were not planning on commercialising it they would not have bothered to even talk to QFI.

The other thing is that we now have BioMSAR which can reduce MSC's Carbon Footprint, something that is at the very top of their agenda.

They are trialling MSAR because it can be used as a transition fuel to BioMSAR, where once vessels are converted to run on MSAR they do not need any further work apart from software settings before they can just be switched to run on BioMSAR as more of it becomes available. In the meantime, MSC get the many benefits of MSAR. As their CO2 reduction is a long term transition, the process of getting part of the fleet straight onto BioMSAR and the rest onto MSAR fits in perfectly.

Today QFI has 1,407m shares in issue, so:

£83m = 5.9p
£124.5m = 8.8p

MCap still less than £24m. I remember it being way higher prior and during the previous POC and LONO trials. Back then we had about 830m shares in issue and the price was steady at 10p to 15p, so the MCap was about £83m to £124.5m.

One thing that has always been thee case when big news like today's arrives for QFI, is that the rise really takes off over the following week or even two, with much higher gain over that time than on the initial news day. This could be down to ii's taking their time to do their research and wait for volatility to reduce.

Here's a question for you all.

As this vessel has already done x number of hours running on MSAR, will thee engine manufacturer accept it running just the rest of the hours needed for the LONO, or will they need to do all of the hours on MSAR again? I am aware that the BioMSAR trial will need to do all of it's hours, I'm only referring to the MSAR part of the trials here.

Well that save us the time needed for the conversion work, which as I remember last time took months. This shows a clear determination to get the trials started ASAP.

Struggled to get a quote at the open (on iWEB), just managed to get 2 x 250k, then a bit later got another 250k. Loads taking negotiated trade I reckon, which will go through later. I wouldn't accept negotiated, just kept trying until I got a price to accept.

Certainly someone is dumping. It looked like the price was going up and down but the lower priced trades are sells and the higher priced are buys, it didn't have the volatility to go up and down that fast to make either the opposite of what the obviously are. I did test buy and sell trades today (just to get quotes but not press the button to accept any of them) and I could see the price falling whilst watching the trades in another browser window.

I think someone either desperately needs the cash, or is just bored with waiting past the deadlines shown in the presentation.

I'm still fully in and still waiting on inheritance money to add more. I'm still looking forward to when QFI are selling to several clients, not really bothered if it goes up or down in the meantime, as that is only pocket change in comparison.

As we know, BioMSAR and MSAR combust like a gas, so the emissions are quite likely within the Dutch air pollution limits.
