I'm still here! I'm not going anywhere, just been more busy with something else that has a lot of activity right now.

I looked at the Satellite images myself just yesterday and see more lines have appeared. All looks very interesting. Here's hoping they are processing the 3D above the CH-1/2 target as priority and can update us on that soon, rather than waiting until all of the 3D is in and analysed before we get an update. Not much longer to go either way, as we head towards the approximate spud date we have been advised, it's almost countdown time!

I see oil, after it's recent pull back, has risen over the past few days to currently $110+. As the pull back will have involved a lot of profit taking from the high, this resurgence may continue back to the high or even past it. Either way, this is keeping the pressure on the shipping and power producers that use oil based fuels. Interest in BioMSAR and MSAR isn't going to wane, that's for sure.

$50m for 4,939 TEU from 2003

The two vessels for the trial are 4 years newer, although 435 TEU less.

Question is, how much would they have had to pay to get Seago to sell them? $50m each? More?

Certainly is a lot of money if it was the project targeting those vessels rather than just general acquisition team. The fact one of them is already converted for MSAR and can run either the MSAR or BioMSAR trials suggests to me that the project team targeted them, to simplify the trial plans and keep them on schedule.

I am also visiting here less frequently now and I'm not even on the FB or Telegram boards, neither will I be as I have no intention of losing my online anonymity by using my personal FB account to join Telegram, and I will never set up a fake FB account just to get access to that board, as I suspect Detergent Warrior and garmoan et all have already done (they would never want to miss some good news posted there in case it affects their trading position, whereas it makes no difference to me as I am not trading AFC stock, so I'll just wait to see the news when it's public, not a problem). The con men have ruined this board for sure, but also blame those that won't filter the turds and cause hundreds of extra turds posts every week in pointless arguments, because you can say whatever you like to the turds, they just laugh to themselves that they got replies and then carry on with the same garbage.

On the subject of Biofuels, I note something in the Quorum on the potential to add such things as "processed used cooking oil, tallow, and animal waste fats" to BioMSAR.

I saw that the Spar Shipping Biofuel trial just completed with great results. Several shipping companies have now trialled the Goodfuels Biofuel used in the Spar Shipping trial. From the results and analysis it looks like that Biofuel is too expensive and needs huge production and uptake to get the price down, as it looks like they are only producing a few thousand tonnes a year. But it could potentially become a component of BioMSAR, as it is made from "processed used cooking oil, tallow, and animal waste fats". Based on the trial results it could potentially cut further the CO2 and Sulphur emissions from BioMSAR. Maybe blending 5% would not add much cost to BioMSAR? This would make it price competitive but even better emissions reductions. Another option would be for QFI to run it through an MMU to MSAR-ise it, producing a better cheaper Biofuel.

But from a risk perspective, if the trials went wrong, such as bad engine damage or loss of power leading to a bad accident, those vessels could end up being written off. That would have been listed as a risk in the project, so surely has to be applied to what they are spending on the project. They could have gone with two of their oldest vessels that are coming up for decommissioning instead, meaning minimal risk of loss if the vessels had to be written off during or after the trial.

It would be interesting to find out from QFI if those vessels were targeted specifically by the project, or if they would have bought them anyway. My money is on thee former.

MSC must be 99.99% sure we will get the LONO(s) as they have seen all the data from the previous MSAR LONO, plus all the data from BioMSAR testing, and they are subsequently spending $60m-$100m to get the trials and LONO(s), so I'm with MSC and think we will breeze it this time. (whilst holding a four leaf clover and a rabbits foot between crossed fingers LOL!)

I wouldn't be surprised if those trades have been worked over the past few days.

Looking very positive for this distressed seller to be off our backs soon.

No MM is going to accept sell trades that big unless they need the stock to replenish their pot, or already have buyers lined up.

Those took the trades from 9,238,842 bought vs 1,818,859 sold, to 9,238,842 bought vs 6,818,859 sold, so still just feeding demand.

The amount it looks like they have sold, an RNS must surely come now.

Just looking at the trades, we hit 3,343,540 bought vs 66,323 sold, at which point a sell of 1,752,536 appeared. That looks like Miton feeding demand, replenishing MM pots after the 3.3m of buys had gone through.

This demonstrates what I've been saying about Miton feeding the demand, not trying to trash the price, just accepting a price at or above their average to reduce their holding. People should take advantage of the price before Miton are cleared out, as it's very unlikely to go lower (especially with good news to come like Morocco fuel manufacture and start of trial amongst other things).

I then checked the trades every day since 11 July (prior to the Miton holdings RNS of 15th July) for similar big trades. What I see is 23m to 30m of possible Miton trades, which is enough to require a holdings RNS. Lets see if we get one after the close, or Monday morning.

MSC Cruises and all the other cruise lines will be very interested. Getting rid of black smoke from cruise ships and reducing CO2 emissions for cruise passengers will be high on their list.
