As a dealer I once worked with told me, "if there's a distressed seller, we will just squeeze them by the nuts until they are gone". That is the treatment Miton are getting for sure!

I sent JM a couple of e-mails yesterday, one to congratulate QFI on the MSC news, another later on with an interesting news item I found (Biofuel related). On the first email I got an OOO reply, but JM usually gets back later just to say thanks, so I get the feeling he's possibly running silent, which could mean something is brewing. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

I saw some 500k and 250k trades yesterday which could possibly be them, a couple of late 500k's reported this morning. But with over 62m traded yesterday and 32,470,374 showing in the sell column, they didn't manage to offload 13.64m (in fact since 15 July), as no RNS this morning. I imagine the MM's are keeping the price down such that if Miton want to sell, they have to accept the low price, a low price that we, ii's and HNW can take advantage of by buying at this price.

They would have to pay a lot more than that.

For starters they wouldn't buy QFI until the risk level dropped substantially. That will only happen once vessels and/or power stations have been running on BioMSAR/MSAR for at least a year with no issues, and that there is worthwhile growth in uptake. What that will also do is significantly increase the QFI MCap into the £500m, maybe £1Bn mark by the end of that year. It could be much higher due to the very low operating costs of QFI, leading to huge multiples in it's valuation, as ii's see big dividends coming along.

All buys this morning so far but showing on these automated systems as sells, which they are not. Buy quote currently 1.515 having been 1.5542 a bit before. What a bargain.

Looking at $40m plus, but could be as much as double that!!

That is A LOT of money to invest in these trials. You can be 100% sure that MSC want BioMSAR and MSAR, and that they are happy to spend this money having scrutinised every piece of data available on BioMSAR and MSAR performance, and the costs, logistics and other supply chain metrics for everything that goes into both fuels.

I was just looking at the MSC Leandra and it has recently been to Algeciras, so that's one possibility for sure.

The PoC can be done before a scrubber is fitted, presuming they go ahead with the scrubber, in which case Algeciras has to be favourite I'd say.

The scrubber could be fitted somewhere in Northern Europe or Scandinavia, and then they could use Shell in Rotterdam for the LONO fuel.

This use of two refineries would give MSC and QFI invaluable data for multiple fuelling supply and logistics ready for when MSC take the fuel commercially.
