It would be the RNS for the start of production of the fuel for the trial, they can't start the trial without fuel, thus there is no Morocco RNS to come before that one as far as I can tell.

They had 4.969314% and will need to RNS if they go below 4%. That would mean after selling at least 13,637,328 shares.

However, they might or might not not have done that yet, and the Morocco RNS could easily drop at 7am tomorrow.

So it's really a 50/50 possibility that either RNS could be next.

I tested and got the following quotes:

So a load of trades from 14:35 onwards are showing as sells when in fact a lot of them are buys.

I'm expecting a few late reported trades, but nothing I'd consider 'monster' in respect of the fact QFI have 1.4 billion shares in issue. Monster in those terms would be something like 100m, but that just isn't going to happen.

Morocco, 2 months to manufacture the fuel and complete the trial, so RNS for fuel manufacturing must be close to do it in that timeframe.

Are Maersk just using MSC as a proxy, so MSC do the trial at their time and cost, then if it all works out fine and dandy then Maersk can just buy their own BioMSAR / MSAR once it goes commercial?

It would certainly explain why Maersk would sell their vessel to MSC for the trial.

Going by the interview today with JM, it sounds like the next RNS will be for Morocco fuel manufacturing. It sounds close too, as everything appears to be in place, and all parties are looking forward to the trial commencing.

MSC also looking at paying for a scrubber to be fitted, meaning the vessel can bee run 100% of the time on our fuel (no switching to Low Sulphur Fuel).

Even more investment into getting BioMSAR and MSAR.

You also have to factor in that it's a small batch so making it will have higher costs for manufacturing, Surfactants, logistics, personnel, etc.

My guess is it won't be much difference in total cost by the time everything is accounted for.

I wonder what the brokers will be telling their ii and UHNW clients to do, based on today's news. I suspect they will highlight how undervalued QFI is at a mere £23m MCap right now. The market listing on it's own is worth half of that, the IP is worth way more on top.

How much will the 25,000MT of fuel be worth?

IFO380 in Rotterdam is $477.50 per MT. We can use that to get a ballpark figure for total cost to MSC.

25000 x $477.50 = $11,937,500

If QFI got 5% that would be $596,875
If QFI got 10% that would be $1,193,750

You have to say MSC are very much after our fuel, not only buying circa $11,937,500 of test fuel, but also buying the only existing converted vessel to test it on.

With 1.4Bn shares listed, if you said a MCap of £700m was appropriate on success of trials and moving to production, then that is 50p per share.

With a lot of production happening further down the line, minimal operational costs thus very high profit margins, multi billion MCap is quite possible, and then you are talking £1, £2 or even £3+, depending on how long you are willing to wait for it.

I find it VERY interesting the number of options QFI now have for fuels to blend, not just HFO an Glycerine but other Hydrocarbons and Bio-stuff. More IP, more options for clients, more options to fill client needs one way or another.

Also VERY interesting is the new onboard blending options with a mini-MMU.

It will certainly be interesting if we get the same rise over the next week or two that we usually get on big news with QFI, as the news spreads, ii's do their analysis, and some wait for any spike in volatility to clear.

Either way, the big BIG money is to be had by buying at this very undervalued price and hold for the completion of the trials, plus Utah, Morocco, Mexico etc. People should be loading up now, not in 6 months time when the price could be double or even treble what it is today, as I have done today and will add more when my inheritance money arrives (1-2 months time I'd guess, but obvs hoping sooner rather than later).
