As there were not 53m shares sold in May or June, and Miton MUST declare at each 1% drop, It's quite likely that they sold the big chunk off-book via Barclays LX, or the Credit Suisse one. Many ii's use these platforms to buy or sell big chunks. If so, someone else wanted 3% and Miton let them have it.

I can't see how you can't see why it does not have to be Miton selling, when any of the below could be the seller, or anyone with just under 3% or many holding below 3%.

Why do you, and many others just assume it's Miton, simply because they were the last ii to post a TR-1? There are plenty of other shareholders that are big enough to do the selling we have seen. They might have even decided to sell after seeing the Miton RNS and reassessing their holding.

They must notify when they cross each percentage, whether they are still selling or not, the percentage is the trigger for the TR-1.

If Miton didn't report within time limits when crossing percentages then they could face fines from the FCA.

A person must notify the issuer of the percentage of its voting rights he holds as shareholder or holds or is deemed to hold through his direct or indirect holding of financial instruments falling within DTR 5.3.1R (1) (or a combination of such holdings) if the percentage of those voting rights:

and in the case of an issuer which is not incorporated in the United Kingdom a notification under (2) must be made on the basis of equivalent events and disclosed information.

Out of those, some are likely only holding PI shares in Nominee accounts:

Any of the others might be reducing their holding. Miton might have finished. Only TR-1's will reveal all.

I'd rather have a decent, well researched broker note, and a realistic broker target price.

That way we'd get ii and HNW/UHNW buying for the long haul, instead of a load of sheep with £1k in their portfolio's buying until the next news, then selling out and waiting for it to drop back so they can buy again, rinse and repeat. All that does is prevent stocks from getting anywhere near realistic valuations.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a TR-1 from Cannacord. They have a 5% holding similar to Miton, buy haven't sold anything reportable for a long time. Miton hadn't sold anything reportable for a long time either, prior to the June RNS.

I happened to have a look at the chart. It's not something I do very often with AEX as it's hardly been moving, but I think it's worth a look at the 5 year chart, which shows a definite Rounding Bottom pattern.

Are you suggesting that the seller has enough stock to keep the price down for years, despite that during that time Morocco, Utah, MSC etc will very likely go to commercial sales in that time?

It turned into years, years ago, but right now, as you know, it is waiting for Miton or whoever to go, and then it will quickly relate, and that as I've already said, should not be very long.

Maybe if you need the money or are impatient you should sell some and eradicate your worries.

What is a wait of a month or two to higher prices in the big scheme of things?

I've held and bought more and more for over 10 years, and I'll keep buying at these silly prices.

I recently spent the spare cash I had in my iWeb account on QFI stock. I need to wait to pay day to buy more just like many other people.

I am still waiting on some big money to come through, which now looks like 5-6 weeks time hopefully, and then I'll be buying a lot more.

What I find annoying is people complaining about a low share price, when anyone holding this stock should be looking at least a month ahead for higher prices (based on expected news flow), and the real BIG money next year. The low share price is an opportunity for anyone that's in a position to buy, that's all there is to say about it really, and everyone can look forward to higher prices in a month or two, unless they are really impatient that is.

Anyone in this hoping for a short term small profit is in the wrong stock. The low price is a huge opportunity to get in or load up before the big news on Morocco trials, Utah, MSC refinery partner, MSC other news, Americas, LONO trial partner for on board blending (which QFI will no doubt be seeking as we speak), etc etc.

The low price is an OPPORTUNITY, not something to complain about.

Sell quote on iWeb is 1.425.

MM's keeping a lid on any big selling until news appears I'd say.

They had circa 4.97% on 15 July, so they need to report TR-1 if they go below 4%.

Only they know if they are still selling. The sells could come from anyone, including Cannacord that also have just under 5%.

At the end of the day it makes no difference other than it gives investors the opportunity to buy the stock dirt cheap, until they stop selling into demand or run out of stock, whichever comes first.

Well, no 7am RNS from Miton. Carry on accumulating at this bargain price and stop worrying about them, all they do is offer us cheap stock temporarily, they will run out eventually and then the stock will be free to relate, so nothing to be scared of at all.
