As I said, there is no way for AEX (or therefore ARA) to pay Malcy to cover them, so it makes no difference what AEX (or ARA) think of him.

Malcy is only of interest to the investors he is targeting with his research.

If more investors buy the stocks Malcy days are worth buying, Malcy stands to make more money on his investments in those companies.

The selling wasn't based on how close we are to news, so why would that change?

I don't see anything that suggests QFI would have to pay Malcy. He has some consultancy business (which is clearly confidential work and not connected to his blog), and he makes his money from his investing on top of that. Companies can't pay to be on his Bucket List.

Malcy is making money from the crowd following him, just like Tom Winnifreth, except Malcy is specialised on the O&G industry he's knowledgeable of.

I've just been through my many emails to QFI. I can see they were well aware of Ultrasonic on board blending going right back as far as 2012 as we discussed it at the time, and they were not worried about it at all, shrugging it off as very much inferior to MSAR, and since then we have improved to MSAR2 and now bioMSAR as an alternative.

Suffice to say, on board blending using ultrasonic cavitation has been around over a decade. Is it now fuelling MSC, Maersk, or even a meaningful part of the shipping or power industry? Nope.

Neither is MSAR, MSAR2 or BioMSAR, but at least we can get straight in there with the biggest shipping company in the World, one that's doing multiple trials and is spending many tens of millions on the trials, such is it's commitment to taking our fuels commercially.

Suggest you send it to QFI and get their view of it to share on here. I'm thinking there's probably a stack of things that make it inferior to BioMSAR and MSAR, but best to get that info from the horse's mouth.

Perhaps they sold the chunk they announced in July, via Barclays LX (the ii's Dark Pool) to a couple of other ii's (thus neither of the buyers hold over 3% so no need to report their holding), at a bit of a discount (to quickly shift the stock and rebalance their funds). Said buyer(s) are then the sellers we saw dropping millions of shares (at a nice quick profit for them).

Today's news is a nice little bonus if we can get a farm in partner or sell it outright, otherwise it will have to wait for gas production from Ruvuma to give us the cash to drill it. Malcy isn't going to start covering AEX based on that, but he should already be all over AEX for the 3D results and CH-1 drilling.

He should really be all over AEX at this cheap MCap.

Success at Chikumbi-1 makes AEX a multi bagger, and that's just for the current gas expectations being met, there's the additional potential for resources uplift from the 3D Seismic before the well is even drilled, and there's a possibility of finding oil in the deeper target(s).

His loss if he is too busy looking at his history book instead of the future!

If CH-1 is a gusher I'd expect the Tanz Government to fast track it to production.

Mirai Fuel Cells are mega expensive, just look at the price of the car. Also, 99.999% purity Hydrogen required. The Denyo FC Generator uses the Mirai FC as well, DOH!!

Yeah, as Mike Rego says, even on a very conservative basis that suggests potentially billions of barrels of oil was displaced from the deep water gas fields.

No doubt some of that oil became gas under the high pressure, but the oil that was pushed up-dip, some of it could have ended up in compartments where it remained as oil.
