I'm now just looking forward to the S Series announcement(s) which must surely be soon. Along with the Power Tower trial RNS's also expected, this looks like a good time for AFC to bounce right back from the wider market doldrums. AB is sure to hit the milestone and bag the £1m payment, he has a knack of hitting milestones and the full AFC resources will be working hard to achieve it.

Commercial Highlights:

First commercial order of S Series liquid cooled fuel cell system received from ABB worth up to £4m
o High power density system
o Initially to be configured for EV charging use in grid constrained environments
o System design contemplates other applications especially maritime and data centres
o £2m non-refundable deposit received from ABB (revenue recognition upon milestone achievement)
o Next milestone payment of £1 million due upon delivery of initial 100kW unit scheduled for this year

Outlook:

Expected delivery in latter part of the year of ABB’s first milestone of 100kW high energy dense S Series Liquid Cooled fuel cell system run on Hydrogen

It looks pretty clear to me that MSC are 110% behind BioMSAR/MSAR for their fleet.

Whilst we are waiting for the next update from QFI on Monday, 3 October, it's worth watching the 27 July interview with JM and remind yourselves of the list of work to be done prior to the trials, none of which needs to be announced in an RNS because the market has already been advised of the work plan.

My buy has finally been reported, 2 hours later.

I'm a gambling man and I, like you and everyone else, have taken the gamble. I do believe the projects are progressing and that we will see announcements to that effect well before there is any chance of QFI needing any more cash, and that if QFI need a small top up of cash way down the line, it will be at a much higher price than today, due to the progress QFI have made in the meantime.

Nobody bets on something they think won't win, so if you have no faith in QFI, sell out and try your luck on some of the other thousands of stocks you can buy, and pick the one(s) you think will win, it's that simple really, because moaning on here won't protect your money.

Good, that's what I like to hear. My money, my purchase, and I have no issues with the price, that is all that matters at the end of the day.

I tried smaller buys and I would not have been much better off. It all depends which MM your trading account is buying from and how many shares they are willing to sell. I'm VERY happy with the price, even if you are not!

Loadsamoney to do CH-1a and CH-1b in quick succession, just depends on timing.

For Ntorya-1 we were told:

Mon, 6th Feb 2017 - NTORYA-2 WELL DRILLING RESULT
Total - 6 weeks and 5 days

Although the CH well's will go deeper, the rig will be different and hopefully a lot better (higher performance) than the crappy old Caroil rig that AEX used. Maybe 9.5 weeks to 12 weeks for the CH wells??

Tanzania rainy seasons: "There are two rainy seasons—the heaviest rains (called masika) usually fall from mid-March to May, and a shorter period of rain (called vuli) occurs from November to mid-January. The dry season, with cooler temperatures, lasts from May to October."

Now looking unlikely to do both in the same window, but they could do the first well starting from Nov/Dec and the second one starting from May. Just a 2 month gap between wells.

I make that costs of $22m. We have a $35m carry, so looks like there's still plenty spare to do CH-1a and CH-1b in the same weather window, if ARA choose to do that (it makes massive sense to do that in my book).

Acting Director General of the Petroleum Upstream Regulatory Authority (PURA) Engineer Charles Sangweni has congratulated ARA Petroleum Tanzania Limited (APT) for starting preparations for implementation of the 3D Seismic Acquisition and Chikumbi 1 well drilling projects at the Ruvuma block in Mtwara region.

Eng. Sangweni said this today, March 1, 2022 in Dar es Salaam during a workshop organized by APT to review and evaluate the best way to implement the 3D seismic data acquisition project.

He said the 3D project is worth USD 15 million (TZS 34 billion) while the Chikumbi 1 well drilling cost USD 7 million (TZS 16 billion) and that the Authority has already approved the use of the funds for implementation which will be carried out in 2022.

"The implementation of these projects will provide employment opportunities for Tanzanians that will have an impact on improving their living standards. Those employed in these two projects will also have opportunity to acquire or develop new skills and competences. This is very important for the growth of our economy and the local petroleum industry," he added.

Eng. Sangweni further applauded the Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC) as a License Holder for working hand in hand with the operator (APT) to ensure that the activities are executed without delay.
