I see loads in the future for AFC in UK EV charging.

Rapid charging is now over 50p/kW from the grid, and that is the price AFC had mentioned a few years ago for AFC L Series off grid, and since then the S Series has come along with cheaper systems and Ammonia or Methanol options, so I would not be surprised to discover that the ABB + AFC rapid charger can beat the price of grid charging.

That puts it in a great place in the market, as it's not only cheaper, it also has security of fuel supply without the risks that fossil fuel supplies or grid electricity have. And still no need for expensive grid upgrades either.

ARA have a drilling planned that goes all the way down through multiple traps until it is into the Jurassic trap. They are not going to stop just because they find gas in the first trap they drill into, because they want to find out what is in the other traps, be that gas, oil, water, or cream cheese.

Either trial starting will boost the SP. Morocco being much more of a booster as it's a short timescale to revenues, whereas MSC is a long runner but still a booster. The revenues from Morocco are what QFI needs in the short term to allay any fears of future fund raising (not near term IMVHO, as QFI could have a years' worth of cash still in the bank, and MSC/Morocco will be paying for fuel for trials.

What makes you think reporters are there? It could be a closed event with the event organisers and companies just doing their own PR.

Search Google for news items "maritime transport efficiency conference" (in quotes) and filter to past 24h, there are zero news items, which suggests no reporters were present.

I wonder what AFC have planned for COP27!

Especially for those that harp on that "Oil has never been found in Tanzania", as if that means it never will be. If the Oil explorers had that doom and gloom attitude to prospecting, humans would never have discovered Oil, Gold, Silver, Rare Earths, Uranium, etc, and companies like AEX would never have existed.

Tanzania, Gas is definitely there, but Oil? quite possibly a lot of it!

I spent £110k today. Got a load more of these and a load more of my old favourites (AFC and QFI, as most people already know from looking at my profile). Now deciding what to do with the rest of the cash, £140k to go! Top of my list is Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Production, green(er) Lithium production, but covering many other sectors too, as everything is down to dirt cheap prices, it's a buyers' market. The biggest thing is all the research that needs to be done to see where each company stands in its commercial trajectory, cash and profit/loss levels, near term price catalysts, etc.

There's always the possibility of a knee-jerk reaction to a QFI presentation, and then a recovery once what was said finally sinks in.

Also, it's possible some might sell before the presentation and buy back if they like what is said.

So yes, there is a possibility of paying less.

But equally there's a possibility that people by ahead of the presentation in the anticipation that enough will be said to give people confidence that things are still on track, and that any potential for fund raising is in the far distant future. In which case the price could go higher.

So stating as fact "they will be even cheaper" is not correct, as that is not a fact unless it actually happens, which is only a 50/50 possibility.
