Doom, You are only half right, this same PFD chunk of shares was bought at 63p last year by Nissin. We all know what the value should be but those who run the company are pushing down the value on purpose.

So back to Darby, he is being paid to destroy private shareholder values as we private holders can't loan our shares out while the big boys can make money on loaning out our shares, they buy high yielding bonds / notes to lock in tasty secured 6.5% return. We are F*****d unless an offer comes in.

Sorry we can't, these funds must be getting at least 2.5% return for loaning out shares to shorters! Fund managers make more money loaning out shares.

FCA must investigate Darby as i personally think he was responsible for Nissin's blocking stake but he also lied about growth which was misleading and could amount to shareholder fraud. I hope FCA goes after individuals and not the company as i can't afford the SP to go lower.

Mulder, I hope you have a diversified holdings as the UK market doesn't work for private investors as shorters are working with big funds. Don't expect FCA to do anything as they have not taken action in obvious insider trading cases. Just keep your holdings and forget about the shorters for now.

If they can remove Uber CEO then could have removed GD since. I think GD is doing exactly what they want.........transfer all those shares from private investors to big funds at low price. Nissin did a private deal and bought in at 63p so we all should be able to sell for 63p.

Bisto, You sound naive, those big holders make money from loaning out shares to shorters and MMs. They don't care what the SP is trading at as they have made some percentage already. Those high secured notes / bonds also go through them as well. Private investors are for the MMs to play with.

So funny that their useless target for SP is 50p. SP needs to trade at 75p average for a minimum of 6 months within 3 years before GD gets his loot.

Lego1, Thanks for the insight, to me it seems the management is happy with the shareholder destruction that has happened. They have never tried to support or boost the SP and their IR don't reply to emails.

Compared with other logistics and delivery companies with lower revenue, DX looks like a big fraud when you compare how their SP has plunged. I wonder if DX's revenue are fake because how can Stobart which has lower revenue and not so much profit be trading that good. MMs don't even believe DX's profit.......haha!

Bisto, We all know the games dodgy CEOs play, they love free shares and very easy targets. GD is a smart guy, free shares, stable salary plus bonus, keep SP down, more shares, reject any sudden offer as it will be too soon and too low for GD's masterplan.........The penguin in batman movie comes to my mind.

PFD needs to cut cost, streamline or consolidate via merger or just put a for sale sign on PFD. Tesco and Sainsbury won't sit around and let amazon or other internet giants wipe them out. I hope CMA clears the takeovers easily. Amazon is a monster and will crush any market. The big four supermarkets can also buy PFD with 25% stake each since the discounters don't rely on PFD that much anyway.

we all know that GD was shocked by the offer, he was due some free shares and needed to add some more via LTIP anyway. McCormick must have been rude and too direct by his dodgy standards.........any sudden offer will always expose something bad in a badly managed company.....a huge hole that is currently being plugged, lots of director loans that need to be paid back. We all get it, i hope GD has cleaned up and plugged the holes......

we need a takeover offer from amazon or any online giant then you will be happy and those shorter will burn. It's very dangerous game shorting companies when they are down and as we can see online business has it's limitations hence why amazon bought Whole Foods. The SP should be closer to 200p by now but nope..........they won't let it.

The only problem i have is the reverse takeover part. Menzies should just make an offer of 30p cash or in new shares of the enlarged company. Those who want to take cash and run can escape while those who see growth can stay in the new enlarged company.
