I guess darby will use CLLN's fall to justify his own failings. I am sorry, CLLN have been too generous with their divis. With PFD, you get nothing but plunge in SP, lies about growth and more debt. When a miracle offer came in, Darby rejected it.

for darby's reign. I have a feeling he's been sacked already as he looked so nervous during the last update. 20th of July would be the turning point as i don't think people will vote for him after failing so bad.

I think the reverse takeover has been agreed in principle but needs to be voted in at both AGMs plus who knows if CMA would slow the process down. My opinion is that DX will stay suspended until the deal is done so that the resumption would represent the larger entity (DX + MNZS distribution) I really want to cash out as soon as possible so i hope we can resume trading based on agreement and not wait for completion of the deal. MNZS should have just made us an offer..........

Up and down.........average closing price for the last 3 months is in play here. The offer would base the premium on between 40p - 42p i guess. Without the profit warning, average closing price would have been close to 50p.

I knew it was just a distraction but we are in July already........................an update on the merger and possible float date would be good.

Only if PFD can produce something great that doesn't cost too much. It's quite hard to invest in new products when margins are tight already and the supermarkets control prices right now in a very competitive market. PFD needs serious cost cutting just as GD has realised recently.......adverts / head office jobs / duplicate roles / exec bonuses all need to go while ramping up efficiency and eliminating wastage.

Got my vote sorted.........can the CEO and executive directors be sacked without having replacements suggested by big shareholders? We need some big holders here to recommend some names and new ideas.

2reinc, I see that you have been converted into a GD lover, a GD follower who is beginning to become a swallower of GD's lies. The whole takeover saga was a mere greedy games - not hunger games mate! GD wanted his free shares to vest first before any offer, he also wanted to be held in high regards by McC. As you all can see from McC's RNS, they were not cosy with GD and his gang for they are bunch of failures anyway. GD has got some of his free shares and more to vest on the way.............let's see if he is satisfied enough now.

How do nominee accounts (brokers) vote anyway......it would be nice to know how they vote regardless of any instructions by private investors / traders who don't have time for AGMs.

Only a takeover will save some companies in the UK. The overpaid evil guys at the top are useless........how can you reward yourself for failure? How can loan / bond be used to overpay useless execs? CEO tag is overrated.......just a managing director would do.......with all execs based in shop floors / warehouses or factories.

Debenhams is worse than PFD, PFD only needs management overhaul but Debenhams will struggle to survive in online shopping world if it doesn't shrink, cut jobs, space and costs. You have to be 90% online sales / 10% physical sales to make good margins these days. All PFD has to do is keep producing same stuff, improve on some and do away with exec pay / bonuses.

I guess GD is preparing new lies about growth in order to keep his job and get more free shares. Supermarkets are not playing nice anymore since Lidl / Aldi showed them how to make money without online delivery or big brands. Nobody here talks about Aldi / Lidl......they make serious money, private company, pay staff very well, no expensive brands.......are you telling me GD is not capable of turning PFD to a sensible company?
