Marshall Wace is the most experienced hedge fund and everyone should take note that they are reducing
reducing, Helkion are trying to prevent the price from running away
Please can you clarify, do you mean the most experienced fund manager is reducing petro holdings, or the price cannot be contained an is on its way to blue sky figure
Bilbo . You cant assume all companies are emrbacing ai, some, particularly the older, are scared of it, they fear for their job... and others learn it and find their productivty up. Thanks to a poster here we know phoenix in favour, i want to know if the other big insurers are as keen.
Having played with it its clear anyone learning and using ai better than the competition likely be the winner.
and.. unfortunately that could also apply to the third world war. ai already in our stuff in ukraine.. bad bad bad.
Laser I thought a better is a better test than psa required before treatment like this or other, ie pse from oxford bio, am I right or wrong please.
As said not remotely interested in a couple of pence rise, want triple at least.
Soz top not 840.. its 850... big deal..
t hought uranium was going to the moon, and its price IS !... Im not remotely interested in gently rising urnp, looking for TAKEOFF.
a couple week ago went into p..xxxxxx 47pc 5ps 10pc up, and today another 15% so far.
If urnp takes mucj longer ill go back to nickel copper etf..!
Mec .. why exactly are annuity quick quotes i from internet calculators not thru fin adv from aviva and lgen (the big ones) £1000 to £1500 yr below "just group". (150k) These were all suggestions from the government annuity help page.
when you looked into this did you get a handle on costs between annuity and drawdown?
re recent rumours of aviva as bid target, I wonder if aviva is a more likely bid target, or all three big ones same. Aviva was the one that had rumours and share price increase/decrease couple months ago (came to nothing)
Happy Xmas.....
lgen safest ? aviva .. had bid rumours phoenix least safe
NICKTIM... av had unjustified takeover rumours recently.. do u really want no exposure to this? . all into lgen ??? why not phoenix. Unfortunately!!!! the high div shres imo dont rise over time like others, so again in a move maybe 10pc into growth like rroyce, and lpc into bluesky/or/bust ones. ggp oxford bio aau.
Thx for replies on annuity all, one question not answered was,, why on quick quotes n(o fin advisior,) do lgen aviva come out so much less than the little known ones like just. ..£1500 a year less on £150k
Be nice to stay with aviva or lgen where i am invested for pension annuity or drawdown.
bit of a shock tho instant quote rates on 150k lgen £1000 more than aviva a year, and just group £1500 more a year.
Anyone here who knows about this care to give an overview.
Is it better to hold a basket of shares as lgen aviva with 7/8pc divi and use drawdown !!!! and if get annuity why would one use lgen/aviva if yearly amount so much less.... am I doing something wrong.
(Any more precise figures and apparently need a financial adisor, and that costs. Iyt seems also there are significant costs in setting up and administering.
Trek.. FANTASIC POST
I played with gpt chat and associated programs when they came free, enough to understand them, and saw that an average guy as me could write a book, draw pictures, make medical reports. My conclusion was you either believe the press ...ai will kill us all, or use it for more productivity than u ever had before. Next thing was to look for companies whose ceo WANTED ai, that was hard to research.
So, is it just phoenix, or is it equally aviva lgen directline, that love ai, have you any idea?
Any other cos you are aware of that love ai?
In my view any company that learns and embraces ai will smash the competition.
Jony...
need 9pc plus
gently rising divi
gently rising share price
very little risk of loss of capital !!!
Jokin apart, I hold petro greatland gold oxford bio for possible huge gains, vod for nice divi with protection as imo will be bought out if drops. Also hold the usual lgen aviva glaxo etc and cty fund small ammout to check progress of funds against mine. (no better) This isn't going to do what i want, .. 20pc capital gain and 9pc divi next 12 months.
Wish there was a fund etf that would give 9pc rising no risk !!!!!!
Why on certain shares, ie urnp aau are boards here deserted yet on adfn lively.
Adds are a problem for me on adfn, here all blocked by using brave brower
(youtube is forcing people to drop addblockers and pay ££££s for add free subscription)
Still absolutely confused, many many many youtube vids saying uranium prices racing ahead, yet this between 780 840 up and down for last 6 months.
I came out of nickle 6 mths ago into urrnp, nickle trending down all this time, but it seems to have bottomed.
REALLY ANNOYING WHEN SAY GOING FOR XXX DIV STOCKS AND NO NAME if you have researched and good ideas, please give names so others can research. For income stream really u need 6pc plus 3pc inflation, thats 9pc. vod is giving me that, share price supposed to increase but its irrelevant as ill never sell it its for income. i am in petro for multiples of todays price.
Seen.. if trying to set up for a reasonable income, for me, need shares throwing off 6pc for income and another 3pc for inflation, thats 9pc. then to find shares throwing off 9pc with slighty rising divi and share price. And with very low risk of going down otherwise the whole thing is pointless. hard Hard Hard..!!!!
funds would give diversity, however over a five plus year view most havent done that well, and anyway 3 to 4pc rising just isnt good enough.
So back to vod which if dropped much more surely would generate takeover interest, and gives superb div.. mm could be cut.
Oh... also would be nice to have a capital gain of 10pc each year! so for this ive got risky shares which could multibag or not, greatland gold oxford bio . so what blue chips are out there around 9pc div slightly rising.
Hi I can understand graphs, and clear company info, please could one of you say !!! Is the co record of successful drilling 1 abysmal 2 normal 3 good 4 xxxx ! and in the future likely 1 2 or 3, or is it hugely /mostly dependent on luck not skill.
... haha dont tell me off I know its a really bad idea to invest in companies u dont understand, !!!!!!!
Soz didnt say clearly, on a 11 month view awful, decending trend to 2.2, but if look 2 yr view it spiked to 8p briefly, a massive rise, so i would expect this to be repeated in future with a bit of luck. Thats a helluva rise.
When I say ceo dir should have skin in the game, i mean shares bought with their own money preferably.
As said, not interested at all in couple pence rise with these shares, looking for many multiples, 8p will do again for a start.
