RE: Huge buy9 Sep 2021 19:55
There was some huge buys that went through after the close, interesting, or was it just a big shorter buying back the shares after they sold to drive down the share price to this level.
I thought that everything around that technical accounting loss was very well explained to investors, the huge portfolio is perfectly balanced and only waiting to be monitized after the delays from this pandemic. I thought that webcast was excellent
and giving me no concerns around future performances, I'm actually very enthusiastic about burford after listening to all the participants especially Ken Brause our CFO, I'm absolutely convinced our share price is being badly manipulated by the usual dark money making investment players , they drive the SP down and take investors with then and then buy the shares when they feel there's another profit to be had in the way up, we could easily see the SP recover to over £9.00 very soon , though anything can happen in this old game, it definitely will push way over £10 around our next set of results, we only need to get our caseloads settled in or out of court, yes others are using the pandemic to slow the court cases , but that can only last a little more before the inevitable happens, we know this industry is all about lumpy earnings , so throw in a pandemic and you have a opportunity for market manipulators to make money from these situations.
The next set of results should easily set burford on the pathway to a much much higher share price and valuation.
I would like burford in the distant future or anytime to raise much larger amounts of capital to get rid of the a somewhat confusing and Perplexing monetary systems these use today for litigation funding, yes it's all about diversifying the monetary risk, but I feel it could be made much more straightforward , we borrow billions, we simply pay interest on that money, after all we're already paying much more interest to 3rd party funding participants, like the sovereign wealth fund, just borrow billions from the one source , the capital markets, just like we're doing right now, only not $400 million make it $5 billion + I actually think this will happen in several years time, but I guess burford will need to earn more profits and have a larger balances sheet before they can ask for that sort of money, though a more simplistic and easily understood company structure could make burford more attractive to new and existing investors.
I'm very confident in burfords future earnings and business model, the massive profits are just delayed to another settlement time . Next year £18 easy. easy easy.
Good luck to everyone invested here.
