Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
I live in Notts and work over the road from Bio City .. I watched the machine be unloaded a few months ago .. I am now watching it get loaded into a UK wagon. Curtainside of the wagon reads CR Engineering .. will keep the BB posted
The good news .. is there is actually going to be less than 50 real.job losses. The real situation is 950 current vacancies are being closed off. All done to keep the market happy .. which is good for us ... and good for the employees.
Just watching the video of the machine - and apologies if this is old news
Machine cycle for each mask is 2 seconds
So 1800 masks/hr, 86400/day ... lets say we have 85% uptime of the machine - 73,440 masks/day
514k masks per week
You can see from the video the machine cycle has not been optimised although that may only yield another 10 or 15%
And i am guessing that the ear cord and raw material feed changeover has not been optimised to reduce the waste and seconds of uptime that are lost
Either way - 500,000 masks/week is a nice revenue stream - plus outsourced supply on top of that
DG - I still believe that they are the stepping stones of this SP
I did state at the time that timing was a total guess and we could be locked in to long drawn out steps - which we are
I also stated that - as we all are - we are learning
I do believe that they will be the main stepping points ... but we can all see how slow this SP is going to progress now - hence dates are miles out
But - i prefer to have a go - and in context at the time it made sense because the board was much more active then, we many different characters
So yeah - best intentions - timing miles out
C26 - As ever your opinion has credibility and elements of the ugly truth that many folk don't want to hear - however i still feel that this SP is going to push up to £26 ish - I have said it a few times that we have been locked into the same SP correction since 2nd Feb at 2293p.
This is how I see it .....
Bit of a drop today 4th time in last few weeks , we could see resistance and support at -
1) 1907p - fib retracement level 76.4% (we just bounced off that a few minutes ago)
2) push thru that fib level to a trend line of support at 1895p
3) Nudge thru 1853p by a few pence to end a 5 wave triangle that started on 2nd march then head north
Just my thoughts
The biggest worry is .... if DBX sales were high, no jobs would be going they would be hiring .. guessing the DBX is a flop globally ... which is a pain in the ass. Have seen a few shares increasing with job terminations as the market can see it as the company controlling its on destiny or making much needed cost reductions .. lets see where the market takes us short term .. long term i still see this heading to a max of £26 b4 the ugly truth is discovered and it gets stuck at that price for a bit
American markets having a strong day today - FTSE futures up tonight - should all flush thru to a positive Monday morning
USA Stimulus might be agreed over the weekend too - boom time if it is
Lets see if AML runs with the pack Monday or does its own thing
I had a top up today having bought my 1st tranche a while ago
SP is at a retracement from the peak at 1650p
I have a buy range of 1292 - 1317p - with the Fib retracement of 76.4% at 1309p - we are somewhere close to the bottom now in my opinion
I agree with the comments - With this Divi - we cant lose :)
So where is this SP going .. well its still on the correction its been on for couple of weeks now .. its an a .. b .. c correction .. a down (zig) .. b back up to 2200p .. and now c .. a 5 wave down .. looks like it has bit left to go .. I am aiming for 1920p but i guess it could be 1875 to 1950p ish .. planning to top up at that point to ride the share upto £24 to £26 .. maybe more .. can forecast that as soon as this eave bottoms .. it will hit bottom pre results and bounce .. or use crappy results to push it to bottom of wave .. either way .. wave five follows ... onve we hit next peak .. it will return back to 1900p ish .. so cud be worth a slice or a sell .. ATB

I see your still misleading people as usual that LTH is the only and best way to win
Well take this trading example
We are at 40p .. it bounces to 80p - We are all 100% up. Traders are reading the charts with Technical indicators/Elliot Waves - whatever folk use to ID the peak and sell some shares - for sake of argument - lets say all
Share returns to 40p - LTH's = Zero gain, Traders have made 100%
Now the reality of of it two fold
40p to 80p is full of bounces, if you trade them succesfully you will be at 161% not 100% at 80p - but that is hard to do so realistically you will be at 125% lets say. At the peak you might only sell half of your shares.
When it returns to 40p - half of the shares are up 125% - rest are up a few %
Lots of bounces in this share the last year - hence people can make a fortune if you have the time and skill
Its not gambling - skill reduces the risk - effort makes it work, few days ago I predicted a mini push to 2200p and it hit 2199p - thats not luck - thats a fibonacci projection - did you sell any then ?? and rebuy ?? ... to be honest neither did I cause I was eating !! haha
Is it risk free - NO!! ... does it take a lot of time - 10Hrs a day - every day
Did I have to learn **** to do it - yes, lots of courses, and hours and hours of pulling my hair out trying to work out the maths and learn the indicators
Do i suggest we all try it - NO! .. do I ram it down peoples throat - No!
I have said this before - LTH is one way - Trading is another way - Day or Swing trading
Room for all techniques on this BB and all folk
So its about time we allow everybody their voice and opinion - positive - negative - Choo Choo - When we win F1 - drinking Kenyan - Gender changers - LTH - Traders
This board posts some great info and links, I love some of the stories, people funding cars, using house deposit money - etc etc
Between us we have all come a long way - rocky and fun journey, I think we all have a passion for AML and want/need it to work
So I hold out an Olive branch to the AML BB world, that maybe we should just be more friendly and accepting of each others views and techniques ready for when we rock up in few years time to celebrate our spoils
I love this BB - It has taught me lots. II love AML and being part of the story
I'm off now to read Carpy and Richards 'volume' posts because they are useful and interesting
