A significant proportion of II holdings have grown since WTG's creation rather than the Q-word so I struggle to see how/why it would be one of them.

The only publicly named IIs going back to the old days are M&G (but Richard Rose is 'their man') and I think Blue Mountain Capital.

However, the lawyers named in the article are associated with SGH.

There have been numerous discussions about the timeframes as well as clear statements from the company. All SGHs fault for starting this nonsense.

Perhaps they will settle before it gets to court....

@Joey : it may help to read company announcements. They have already explained the status of the capital return and why the escrow has been held.

@addinckt...no: I was referring to the mess which came after the publication of the Gotham document. You won't find me defending Terry...I was just being factual (I think).

@Davey: the RAC deal was tied to the QPP share price I seem to recall, and when the sp collapsed RAC pulled the plug. Had the Gotham mess not happened I don't think the deal woukd have been affected.

Well yes, I suppose the world has more than enough food supply and that the UN suggestion of a need to shift to primarily vegetarian diets is unlikely to require vast increases in productivity per hectare.....Yup....little demand.

Its based on several years of this debacle; significant personal investment; reading what I can get my hands on; asking questions of the company as well as looking at each threat such as SGH//SFO And the now dead YLF.

Half year report shows £1.20 ish per share in cash with reduced costs and cash burn.

Escrow is a little over £1 per share

This leaves us over £3 before taking into account the SGH outcome and ongoing development of the remaing opcos. Plus whatever opco sales bring as they are being built and prepared to sell.

SFO have charged nobody.
SGH may have another 18 months to run unless settled: the courts recently increased SGHs security deposit (interpret that how you will).
YLF have dropped the threatened claim as they could not get insurance to proceed.

A long slow saga with potential to go from today's sp to £3+.

I doubt there will be one:-
- Years after the start of their investigation, the SFO have still charged nobody woth anything
- YLF dropped their threatened action as they could not get insurance ie were unable to show they had, on balance, a chance of winning.

As I bought the essential tonics:-
1. Good to see M&S selling G&T gift packs using FEVR.
2. Disappointing to see Waitrose running very visible Schweppes promotion at less than half the p/litre at this time of year (guess which shelves were half empty?)
3. With the current marketing line 'If 75% of your drink is the mixer, mix with the best'........I'm glad to be pouring my own!!!!
