I've long wondered why people question small buys by directors. Unless you know the intimate details of their personal finances it seems reasonable to assume they're just buying what they can afford to at any given time. I think there's a (natural) tendency to over think these buys.

Looking at HotCopper today it appears the shareholder payouts from the 1st class action against SGH is now starting to pay out. Unfortunately it doesnt seem to have helped anyone except (you guessed it!), the lawyers:- Wazza22 Date: 12/06/18 Time: 21:09:34 I got $17.82 from a $6,372 loss. Hardly worth the effort. Less than 0.28%.

Hi yoshie: long time no see....I hope you're well. Who knows? It would seem to open up KPMG to claims for losses due to their failures, however I'm a sceptc about these situations. The lawyers all earn fortunes but the clients may just end up with pennies: frankly I'm not interested. The WTG price is suppressed because of the SFO & SGH situations. We already know the base value of the shares is around 144p with the significant cash in the bank. My primary investments here were made after Terry was ousted and I also banked a decent sum during the capital return process. Others have to make their own decisions: if a claim against KPMG is issued I will almost certainly join it as their sign-off on audits undoubtedly distorted the basis for investment. I did not suffer 'huge losses' at that stage fortunately, although you and I both know many who did.

My view for what it's worth:- 1. SFP knew all about the FRC investigation into KPMG's handling of the accounts 2. The SFO held back comment until the FRC had concluded its work and announced the fines 3. The SFO may now come forward with their own conclusions. They can keep the case open if they wish and are continuing to investigate. They certainly wont tell anyone what that is if they are and I seem to recall reading in their own terms of reference that they may keep a case open for up to 5 years if they deem it neccessary: other facts may come to light and other actions (eg SGH claim) may have a bearing on what the SFO decide. It is what it is.....I'm hoping point 3 above is the outcome regardless of which way the pendulum swings.

I'd be enjoying a very comfortable retirement at USD1 CR.....numbers beyond that are unimaginable frankly. Half of it would be fine too. Let's just take one step at a time......exhillerating times ahead (And always the possibility of a curved ball which comes from nowhere).

Absolutely agree...time will tell. At the moment the lack of visible progress from the SFO does nothing but penalise current shareholders AND the development of the business.

If that happened then i can assure you it stopped very quickly.... plenty of 'frank' exchanges took place. Personally I have no interest in more whining about alleged false statements years ago. The SFO and SGH issues will clarify all of that.....interesring that MyLocalFlunkies have still not acted on their threatened CA....which also perhaps reflects their legal view of the likely outcome. Still....no reason not to raise questions here on it all over again. Personally I have no interest.

IOIK: im not sure what you're looking for but you're not going to find much 'back-patting' there. Decent, reasonably well-mannered discussion (except where Terry is concerned) plus direct answers from the company. Thats all.
