My thoughts and opinions only:-

JV originally announced 9 months ago - RNS 15th Oct 2018 - feel a lot has happened in this period for a small cap AIM stock
I assume the delay in the new plant opening sooner (from RNS 15th Oct) is down to purchasing the plant rather than leasing it - guess leasing was the original plan - owners of the plant (Alamac) wanted to sell rather than lease out and offered AEG a good price for the property - I am sure I read somewhere they spent $3million on a new roof alone not too long ago! - and assuming they may have taken a few CLN themselves! Site valued just over $4.5m
The good thing is that the recent fundraises are being used to buy property/plant/machinery - so in other words ASSETS!

Looks to me that they have a clear JV plan over 36 months to install plants for upto 100tph with strong backing from JV and now a mention of new Euro and Asia investors
First being Lumberton at 50tph (end of 2020) and the other 2 plants at 25 each by end of 2022 - plus export and other biomass/feedstock options onsite - not sure what this means at the moment though!
The JV seem to be very much aligned with Litter (poultry) switch opportunity with Peatswitch also mentioned in the original RNS now on the back burner due to the Young Living situation

Already have been awarded $500k grant and I assume with more grants to follow - announcements now mention positive impact on local economy and supporting local businesses etc.. (maybe this is a requirement for more grants being awarded!)
Raised money, convertible at 1p or 8% pa also with Income from Sub Leasing to cover some of this 8% cost - most companies are paying rent per month so no different here
Not sure if they will just use waste timber only of a mixture of cut wood and waste - but this must be a far cheaper option so greater margins
It appears to be good story and plenty of Win Wins for all - hoping the plant will be operational early Q4 and not at the end of Q4!
Re the increase from 5 to 50tph - surely they will be able to lease/purchase some or most of the new machinery required rather than raise & dilute anymore!
I am a lot happier than I was just three months ago as even the general manner of the recent RNS's has a more confident feel about them!
All stocks have risk - but I now feel this has at least another year to prove the concept works!

I have tried to forget about all the other previous opportunities that has not gone to plan/come off. I will just concentrate on the new plant if anything else comes off then that's a bonus!

AEG is continuing to consider various commercial opportunities in Alberta. On 17 May 2018, AEG announced an MoU with Powerwood Canada ("Powerwood") which, subject to formal contract and available funding, would allow AEG to assume a controlling interest in Powerwood. Powerwood has access to a number of forestry assets granted by the Crown in the name of the Province of Alberta. Commercial conversations have continued between the parties but at this time, there is no immediate prospect of a transaction.

In addition, AEG has continued to maintain an ongoing relationship with the Métis Settlements General Council under the stewardship of Metis Settlements General Council President Gerald Cunningham.

Finally, in recent weeks, AEG has been approached by commercial partners, who may wish to acquire a territorial licence to develop CoalSwitch� in Alberta.

AEG is examining various solutions to realise value and see the commencement of operations in Alberta and will provide the market with a further update as soon as practicable.

Maybe this is what is slowing the progress - from 4th June RNS

Ancillary construction activities to commence to build weighbridges and other infrastructure items for the handling of biomass and CoalSwitch™

Assuming they already have customers lined up for when production starts - my prediction is that Georgia Renewable Power will be their first customer next door, plus the other 2 power plants they are opening - this will be for wood first then a combination of wood and poultry later - still not sure how the JV works between these two companies - they are providing some steam from their plant, feed stock is now sorted and the new premises was purchased by AEG only- surely cant just be about a bit of steam? Maybe they are purchasing some machinery to supply the finished pellets direct to next doors yard?

The share volume placed on the market certainly should trigger a few holding updates!

So MC is now £12m with £1.5m (excluding costs) in the bank

Fundmentals will play out here - share price will adjust once the emotion and how the placing was carried out is diluted and any loose shares are taken - maybe quick or may take time - who knows if the buyers want a quick turnaround or they will stay invested

Hopefully some good news flow pre New Year and Q1 19

I have a good stake here now built very recently, unfortunately, I am down quite a bit already so not a great move from my side on timings but still believe the MC is well under valued for a company with all the potential opportunities and deals signed to date

Not strictly true - AEG do have interest payment commitments and are paying 8% per annum on the outstanding CLN's which will become debt to repay after the 5 year period or of course can be converted to shares at any time

If correct this creates 456,410,256 shares linked to the CLN to raise £11.57m - 5 year notes

Can be converted at anytime at £0.032955 (30% premium to VWAP) per share or AEG pay 8% per annum in interest payments on outstanding CLN amount. CLN amount is secured against assets

So far a total of 49,633,227 shares converted or cash value £1,258,200 at £0.02535

Quick calculation - still outstanding 406,777,027 shares or £10,311,797 paying interest at 8% - or £825k per annum

Happy to be corrected as I have assumed one point on the price per share when agreed

Evening All, Not been around for a few months - things have changed a little! Can someone explain how CLN,'s work as I feel a few of you are not really sure? Some seem to think that these are raising cash flow when converted and when initially announced! And can someone explain the difference between - 'issue of equity' and ' Conversion of loan notes' announced in the last few months please? And the last RNS - issue of equity (30th May) seems to have detail incorrect! Also was Mr Spinks 'conversion of warrants and options' on the 18th Dec 17 was this included in the year end figures? Total raise was £521k - food for thought - did this prop up the YE figures/cash on hand? After all the warrants and options were exercised early - why? Still very much like the story and the products but concerned on the cash front before I invest again - will wait for a new cash raise/placing or other finance news and then decide! When invested I was very keen on Asia support via Lumino Capital - as it seemed they would finance Asia deal going forward, plus provide much needed cash flow - what's going on now? - seems under review (1.5 million tonnes was mentioned 29th sept 17) that's a lot of potential volume! What has happened to the Rocky Mountain - thought the testing was early 2018!!! I understand you have to move around sometimes to capture the best return - but AEG moves like dogems at a funfair sometimes and I struggle to understand when a deal is announced if this will actually make it to the next stage before another change of focus! I first invested when AEG had revenues and future investments in the wood chipping business in Ukraine - this was sold as high growth with plenty of investment in upgrading the port facility which would hopefully provide cash flow and working captial to further invest in CS - seems after all the investments it cost over £7.3m to dispose of the busines. I remember a director who resigned quickly was going to buy the operation and after he pulled out they were still going to sell the business or move hardware to Utah! And it cost AEG a lot of money to close it down! Just as a future call you really need to be watching out for solar, wind, tidal and battery storage - big threat but maybe not in Poland! Please don't think I'm bitter I made very good money holding AEG sold slight too early - I am more than happy to invest again but needs to be focused approach with limited changes! Do you have more information re this cancelled placing as I am not or was not aware of this detail - can you confirm your source? Anyone else received this information? So your assumption is that due to the SP fall and then the immediate rise that the placing was cancelled and that finance must be in place or due to be in place! You seem to have a little bit of inside information here Mr DrMaccers! Good Luck!

Good Evening DrMaccers, You appear far more informed than I certainly am, if you do not mind me saying! To be honest I am just trying to use my experience as a private investor and try and second guess what is about to happen - all part of the game I thought! Like I said I might be totally wrong but certainly worth a detailed discussion? Not trying to be negative but to just to start a discussion and go through the next steps of growth and development and how AEG will get there! How do you see the cash flow now as it is and then working into the future with partners or stand alone funding?. These are honest questions to ask and I feel and that all shareholders need to consider and try to second guess unless investors have the full details from AEG by the way of an RNS The story is great and I am not disputing this, but you always need the finance in place and then positive cash generation thereafter to get you to each of the next stages of growth

Good Evening All, Now things have slowed a little, does anyone fancy a guess on a placing following the recent share price increase? My guess is yes, and at 2.95p with a �5m raise in total I'm not here to be negative and might be totally wrong but in my opinion this is the best time to raise much needed funds for a stronger go forward plan What do others think? Thought I would try to start a bit of a discussion as things are a little quiet! Good Luck!

Think you may be getting mixed up with the meaning of 'listed' and 'converted' If the loan notes are converted at 3.2955p this would equate to just over 350m more shares added to the share register! I cannot find anywhere confirming this! Maybe funding isn't an issue - maybe AEG has a new line of credit available or have a placing already agreed! The reason i think they will need more cash soon is because RGS took the options and warrants early for �521k @ 1.25p on 18th Dec just over 6 weeks since the previous raise for �1.75m @ 2.1p - maybe they have plenty in the bank and i am way off the mark, but that plant did look pretty expensive to me and it wasn't completely finished! Not an issue if you are happy to be diluted and sit this out and like I said if a placing does go ahead it may lead to a SP increase Still very much like the story and the above is only my personal opinion but I would like a little more detailed information on how they will fund the next stage Hope this helps Good Luck!

Great Story at the moment and plenty of interest but what is not clear is how much cash is required to get to the next stage or how much AEG has on hand! Understand the agreement re Asia but there is no detail on how the agreement will work - 50/50? Is AEG required to invest �x initially per new plant? The RNS for Asia was 21st September fast approching 5 months ago! Also disappointed the plant was not fully 100% CS operative and this will now be completed in March which i am guessing will now have a knock on effect and delay the Power plant test. RNS this morning mentioned 2018 but no clear actual month or quarter! Need to look at the threat here for another fund raise and possibly further dilution. Have a review of the money raised so far this year from the RNS's and the terms attached focusing on the 21st March - �11.57m Convertible loan! On the positive note, placings can actually provide a further welcome boost to the SP if the cash in place to secure the next stage into profitability I personally feel the SP will slowly move down to 3.1p possibly even 3p in the next few weeks without any further concrete news This board has been very positive here for a while now and do not want to upset any positiveness, however, I feel a little more information is required on how the next stages will be funded - all part of the investment game i guess!
