Just have a feeling this will be signed off tomorrow and that this was sorted maybe last week and all partners were aware of this (maybe post dated signature) - I think someone pointed out re the extension licence was agreed a week before the RNS announcement which didn't seem to be leaked to the market before hand!

My reason for this is that Solo needed to update the city and shareholders on how they will fund the project, farm-out detail or an agreed sale and wanted to update the situation beforehand rather than on the same day - which would have a been a lot to digest! Maybe SOLO are close but need more time. Assuming the SOLO funding announced today has been in place for some time to assist with negotiations but they needed to RNS this today as they have not reached a deal in time. If the farm-out is announced tomorrow without any of the info from SOLO you can image all the questions re how will it be funded, have you reached a deal, share sale etc.. Plus this is a nice way for Prolific Basins to obtain a few shares at a low price to reward their support for the backing

Maybe more wishful thinking using plenty of assumptions - but its just the optimist in me!!
I have been wrong before a few times and the market certainly doesn't see this by looking at the shares traded today - but they also didn't see the extension RNS either!

Feels to me like it was one of those - ' Cant pay, take it away' moments on SOLO and whoever is interested in trying to acquire SOLOs % stake is/was playing hardball with an unrealistic offer for some or all off the %

Funding 'Option' and 'Should' it be required - highlights it all to me!

I guess after all this is business and I feel with what SOLO has now put in place will now move the sale negotiations at quite a pace

You are right Soundsrich - AEG is also on a lot off PI's share watch list due to the rise and fall history ready to jump back in. Also, the current Stockmarket climate of chasing the gainers for the day helps in the very short term and I have a feeling that this will go berserk if any good news is announced in the next few weeks
I have noticed there are a few new investors/traders talking about AEG with regular tweets as well

I agree Soundsrich, AEG has waited patiently for the public meeting and I am hopeful that they will award the permit early next week due to the delays already suffered/loss of revenue. A draft permit has already been presented so this will speed up the process and will just need the stamp of approval

At the meeting when DEQ opened up they actually made a comment that basically said that the permit could be passed but they wanted to provide an opportunity to hold a public meeting

Funny how a couple of million shares sold this am can move the price down 8% and then a few million purchased can move it back and then to up nearly 6% - doesn't take a lot to move this share either way!

WOW - that was a bit of a orchestrated bun fight!
Not one of the 'against' discussed the potential and benefit of the Coal-switch product for what it can acheive from beetle kill, fire, and waste wood -etc.. It was more focused on local concerns of the local pollution and issue with flooding, river control and cutting down trees etc... - I get it, but lets get the results from the first tests, if a problem, then Im sure it will be fully sorted!!! :-)

Personally, I don't think it will be a massive amount as the working capital is to purchase Timber and this will be processed and sold on- I guess the Asia Export side of things will have a longer lead time due to shipment but unsure of the payment terms etc..

AEG had approx $400k Jan plus they are not paying any interest on the loans so hopefully with Sales achieved so far there is enough cash flow in the business to fund this extra shift

Had a bit a lie in this am (not going to trade anything today following yesterday US market!) so just catching up now - looking forward to reading the 20 page powerpoint I have just downloaded from RMDE website

Would be good to hear some news on when that 2nd shift will start!

Reads like a a very quick win to me - see below from the SP Angel research note!

'Notably, the second shift addition may require some additional working capital to get sufficient feedstock supplies in place, but that could happen quite rapidly'

Hopefully only a few weeks to wait for the Permit update so would be great for some positive news before this to keep the momentum

The part I like is that licensing is mainly the licensee companies hard work, contacts, customers , cash investment, hire and firing, working capital etc.. AEG will supply the technolgy, production process with know how backed up with IP protection plus access to any future new tech when launched

AEG will receive a one off fee upfront plus ongoing royalties for the life of the license (plus it appears they will also be involved in construction of the plant - which assuming there is fee income for AEG) - Also assuming there is an area volume target builtin within a certain time frame to ensure the license is productive/fee generating. The other good part is no capital outlay which is crucial for a small company to obtain global reach to as many markets as possible

In the overall picture for me the licensing is a bonus but does sound like there is some progress in South East Asia - maybe its the same company who has just started buying the saw logs (who ever that is!)

Lumberton is an ideal place for a pellet site - if you have time take a good look at ENVIVA ($200m turnover in their first quarter they supplied over 1,004,000 metric tons of wood pellets) 4 of their plants are situated in North Carolina

Ha ha - Understand that information/possible deals mentioned by Mr Spinks may or may not come to fruition but at the end of day they have paid cash for 2 x licenses for 20 years and RMDE directors have a good % of AEG shares between them, he also understands the product and offer more than anyone, being the ex CEO and all that!
RMDE also recenlty attempted to purchase land and a large plant site in New Scotia (which would have meant an additional Coal-switch License for AEG) with a considerable amount of money allegedly secured for the site purchase and the full set up of a pellet plant. This is still work in progress but appears to be a red tape with local government delay. Mr Spinks wanted to move fast to secure local forestry jobs but I guess not looking likely that this will now go ahead as they pulled it - if you want a link with the details let me know

I said a little while ago that my main focus with AEG was on Lumberton and anything extra is bonus - so I will continue to watch and observe RMDE advances and give him the benefit of the doubt for now

I feel that once permits are awarded at Lumberton this will be a green light for any future Coalswitch Pellet plants within the industry and may assist RMDE with planning applications/permits etc..

Subject to the share price over the next period some future news to look out for is the conversion of the series B CLN's

418,362,600 outstanding @ 1p

In my opinion this will be a very good outcome as it will reduce the debt levels and highlight commitment especially if the bondholders retain the shares - although it will dilute by 33% this should have a positive affect on the share price by taking some of the debt off the table - please note these series B CLN's at 1p were actually issued when share price was under 0.4p and they purchased an asset which has since increased!!

If this predicted conversion takes place then any shares purchased under 1p will actually reduce the dilution affect on your holding

My fag packet calculation is AEG is worth approx £30m market cap if debt is reduced and permit is in place - it was as high as £44m when at 4.4p in April 2018 and think it went as high as 5p at one point - granted different times now though!

MC of £30m if the series B are fully converted share price will be approx 1.8p

The next challenge is for the series A CLN's to be converted - these have a conversion price of 3.29p so all to play for!!

Interesting times but daily share volumes are now starting to improve which is a very good sign IMO
