Β· Test reactors have been in operation at Lumberton undertaking a test programme for prospective clients, as per the announcement dated 4 June 2019, and will continue to operate simultaneously with the commercial scale reactors following installation;
Not really sure what this means - does this mean they are producing pellets for sampling? What ever it means it will continue to operate once the site is fully up and running
Test Reactors - sampling?
Commercial Scale Reactors - product to market?
Feel that the initial Utah site was set up as test reactor model for sampling initially (reference Plant) and not a commercial scale reactor set up! Maybe this is why they need time to install?
The initial reference site was going to be sold as well - see below
At the end of the H1 2018, the Board decided to limit activity at the Utah Reference Plant, pending review of the optimal deployment of this facility, which included a potential sale of the Reference Plant at that time to a customer. The review is now complete, and AEG has now moved the Reference Plant to the Lumberton site in North Carolina, where it intends to commence scalable production in the second half of 2019.
