I have been watching this info myself for a little while smacks!
Looks like there is just one additional information request for AEG where some have 2 or even 7 additional information requests on status changes dated so far in Jan 2020 - lets hope AEG are quick to respond and the information is not too difficult or costly to provide!

Also Richard Spinks has posted on Twitter yesterday that he is meeting with Nova Scotia next week- not sure if this is connected with Coalswitch/Licence/AEG - interesting though as he did post a little while ago about possible opportunities for Coalswitch

Total H2 revenue is now at approx $2m for the last 6 months which includes licence fee and rent income since July

Not sure, as per the interview, if AEG has traded any sawlogs/Timber or sold any C/S or black pellets since interview time of 1st August - at the end of interview there is talk of potential licencees which listening to now make sense - let's hope all rest of the points discussed also make sense soon!

Seems that with the recent RNS the (client/s) has seen enough of the current set up at Lumberton and plant performance to part with $1.8m and commit to the C/S tech - I am looking forward to seeing the operational set up of the site so hopefully we will get a few images/videos at the next update (which can't be too long now surely!)

As AEG will supply the machinery and equipment I would assume there will be profit margins from any sale.

They have been carrying out DD & negotiating for over 1 year but is the agreement timing now down to the Lumberton site completion and has provided the confidence required?

More specific detail on this press release but I like this part, they make it sound like a done deal

'This gave us the confidence to invest in the License for these two key Canadian territories involved in the forestry and wood processing industry in Canada and to be able to negotiate with a major international off taker for up to 1 million tonnes of CoalSwitchTM per annum from our initial plant installations, with further demand still to come.'

Timing will be all important point on this agreement and how quickly they start to build the plant and produce but nice to receive something a little unexpected all the same!

Interested to see if they have traded and shipped any timber since the last interview where Mr Rowan mentions Aug/Sept!

My only question at the moment is the $5 per tonne is great now but is this index linked in anyway - not sure what $5 will be worth in years 5, 10 etc..

I feel it would be a little cheeky if the licence news is within the next week following this RNS, but then again, it would be very bad timing to award them after the licence news broke wouldn't it!

My personal guess/target is 4.4p /£160 MC if they swoop in quickly before spud and drill results/data following the licence agreement

After this then it will depend on the findings from the results and data and could be far far higher

Personally I will just take this one step at a time and will be patiently watching for the licence news first then review again with the data available at that time

Tell me about if fjones40 - I have had a few rollercoaster rides with a few African shares like BLVN & VOG but in the end I did actually make good money when I sold out with good timing on my part - been in here approx 12 months and have been accumulating over this period and I am happy to wait this out for the right ROI %
I trade a few shares here and there for a bit of day to day fun but I have a good holding with AEX and I am looking forward to nice return for my patient investing strategy anytime within the next 6 months - but i'm in no real rush if this pays out like i'm predicting it will - like I said my hunch is AEX will be bought out lock stock and barrel! So I hopefully won't even need to time/guess the best exit price!

That's what my money is playing for anyway!

I have a few in SOLO but very little compared to AEX so will take up the OO to see what happens there!

Assuming this means that SOLO/Sircoco will need to stump up their share at 25% and they have agreed to this prior - so $10m or is $40m spend mentioned for the 75% only and doesn't include SOLO's 25%???

Not sure, but as SOLO is suspended, does this mean they do not need to issue their own RNS subject to any connection to this RNS released today?

Still have a feeling once the licence is all approved AEX will be taken over very quickly and SOLO have already agreed, in advance, the price they will take for the 25% and possibly their stake in Kiliwani!

But what do I know I thought this would be signed off by end September!!!

Anyone else believe AEX will be taken over very quickly when this is signed off by the government?

If so why don't they just take this over now before it being signed off for a lower price

Maybe between AEX and SOLO they are waiting for sign off to obtain a better prices for their percentage stakes for their shareholders

Any ideas/suggestions welcome!

Not really sure what this means - does this mean they are producing pellets for sampling? What ever it means it will continue to operate once the site is fully up and running

Feel that the initial Utah site was set up as test reactor model for sampling initially (reference Plant) and not a commercial scale reactor set up! Maybe this is why they need time to install?

The initial reference site was going to be sold as well - see below

At the end of the H1 2018, the Board decided to limit activity at the Utah Reference Plant, pending review of the optimal deployment of this facility, which included a potential sale of the Reference Plant at that time to a customer. The review is now complete, and AEG has now moved the Reference Plant to the Lumberton site in North Carolina, where it intends to commence scalable production in the second half of 2019.
